Your place!

Isaiah chapter 6 verses 6-8.
Then one of the seraphs flew over to the alter and with a pair of tongs picked out a burning coal. He touched my lips with it and said, "Now you are pronounced 'Not Guilty' because this coal has touched your lips. Your sins are all forgiven." Then I heard the Lord asking "Whom shall I send as a messenger to My people? Who will go?"

The sweetness of life can taste so good!
Eve so enjoyed the taste of the apple, it's sweet flavor and crunchy texture made it enjoyable to eat. She even went to Adam, her friend and spouse and told him about it's wonderful flavor. And he wanted to enjoy it also. The story however had consequences, for they had been told not to eat that fruit, yet they went ahead and did it anyway. What followed was hardship and sadness.
All around us are temptations and the lifestyles that develops can be confusing and hard to accept. Can everyone afford an education? Can you achieve what is needed to survive? Why are others in control? Why is it so hard to achieve a peaceful life?
Being content is hard no matter how good your job is or no matter how stable your life is. People always want what we have and if there is nothing to give then we are trying to get something and hold onto it, so that we can say it is ours. Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden. Wow! God's beauty surrounded them and they had all that they needed. Everything was in abundance, and God enjoyed spending time with them.
Yet, they messed up! We live in God's world, it is His creation put here for us to enjoy and for Him to enjoy seeing how happy we are. How thankful we are and to hear our praises to Him. God loves all people so much that He does not want to lose even one of us. So He sent Jesus to be the Savior that people need, to be content living in God's presence.
We cannot stop ourselves from making mistakes. The wonderful things that we can have keep us wanting more and more. And so our focus is on the good things of this world and not on seeing how wonderful God's provisions for us can be. Instead of being thankful to God for His provisions, we are on guard, protecting our accumulated stuff.
The most valuable gift of God is Jesus and the promise of life with Him. You see, life with Jesus begins the moment you come to Him and ask for His help. His forgiveness is like lifting the blanket that has been covering your eyes and seeing for the first time that you are living in God's garden.
And does that not sound like a place that you will never leave? You have never experienced such wonderful love and happiness. You are at peace, content with what God has given to you as long as you get to live in His presence.
Now that you have had a taste of this most amazing beauty, do you not want everyone to know of it also? They may not except what you are saying because their eyes are still covered, but yours are no longer and everything you do and touch is blessed by the most amazing place where you are living. In His garden.
Your thankfulness to Him, is seen in your hard work and your happiness to love all that you are doing. It is seen in your kindness to help others. It is seen in your wisdom and your understanding. It is the words you speak and the listening ear you have. You are the one who is chosen to take the beauty of what you know and share it with those who do not.
His blessings overflow through your love for Him. You see God in every breath you take, and every step you take. So, you look to Him and hold close to His guidance. You speak to Him and honer Him for all things.
Thank you God for Jesus and a lifetime of living in Your presence. 😊

Deuteronomy chapter 4 verses 5 and 6.
"These are the laws for you to obey when you arrive in the land where you will live. They are from the Lord our God. He has given them to me to pass on to you. If you obey them they will give you a reputation for wisdom and intelligence."

Deuteronomy chapter 4 verses 28 -30.
"There, far away, you will worship idols made from wood and stone, idols that neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell. But you will also begin to search again for Jehovah your God, and you shall find Him when you search for Him with all your hearts and souls. When those bitter days come upon you in the latter times, you will finally return to the Lord your God and listen to what He tells you. For the Lord your God is merciful---He will not abandon you nor destroy you nor forget the promises He has made to your ancestors."

John chapter 1 verses 1-5.
"Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God. He has always been alive and is Himself God. He created everything there is---nothing exists that He didn't make. Eternal life is in Him, and this life gives light to all mankind. His life is the light that shines through the darkness."
