Reality

Malachi chapter 2 verse 15.
"Your were united to your wife by the Lord. In God's wise plan, when you married, the two of you became one person in His sight. And what does He want? Godly children from your union. Therefore guard your passions! Keep faith with the wife of your youth."

Don't you hate arguments? Living with strife in your life is no fun. Is God there to lift you up? Is He there to guide you with the right thoughts that allow you to have the right words to speak? Are you honoring Him?
   It is pretty easy to get confused and live in a life of haze, always wondering what if I had done it this way or maybe if I had done it that way. If you are not following God then what are you doing? Are you meeting the right people? You are kind and you are trustworthy, so why is it that you have arguments with people? Why do you feel bitter and like you have not been given the breaks that others have gotten?
   "I do like to drink alcohol. It blots out the realities of mistakes and loneliness. I hate the mornings after. It may have been fun the night before. I may have met someone who is going to love me and truly care about my life. They were here last night, but now they are gone. Were they married? Was it just another passing fling? I seek after them but they are too busy and are making up lies. So, I'm depressed and well maybe I'll look again and laugh a bit more and wonder why!"
   Those are days that God is wanting to lift you from. He has sent Jesus to show you that there is hope and peace to be had. But you have to let go of looking in the wrong places. Marriage is a vow to another person with a commitment to be with them forever through thick and thin. Through sickness and tough times. Do you think you can do that on your own? If you are to ask God to be with you in your marriage and then hold on closely to His guidance; He will bless you with a long happy marriage.
   With God you know what it means to curve your passion and be faithful to the one you married. You both pray together. You both live godly lives. Loving others as you love yourself. With God you have purpose of serving Him. Your eyes are on Him and you support each other in all your endeavors.
    If you have children then they are brought up knowing the importance of holding closely to God. The world is filled with wonderful glittery stuff that can easily grab you and mislead you. Others want what you have. Guard your passions, guard your faith and walk with Jesus all day long. Fill your days with songs of praise, being thankful for everything. The air you breath, the job you have, the chores you have completed. The sunrise and the wonderful peaceful sleep, they are all gifts from God, that you get to share with the one, He has blessed you with.
   Don't miss out on happiness. Instead of looking in the wrong places try stopping for a moment and seeing that Jesus is right there, ready to hold you close. You know that place where you feel protected and loved? That is the life God wants you to have. Focus your thoughts on Him and He will provide you with all that you need.

Malachi chapter 2 verses 4 and 5.
"Then at last you will know it is I who sent you this warning to return to the laws I gave your father Levi," says the Lord of Hosts. The purpose of these laws was to give him life and peace, to be a means of showing his respect and awe for me, by keeping them.

2 Peter chapter 3 verse 14.
"Dear friends, while you are waiting for theses things to happen and for Him to come, try hard to live without sinning; and be at peace with everyone so that He will be pleased with you when He returns."

Proverbs chapter 4 verses 18-20.
"But the good man walks along in the ever-brightening light of God's favor; the dawn gives way to morning splendor, while the evil man gropes and stumbles in the dark. Listen, son of Mine, to what I say. Listen carefully. Keep these thoughts ever in mind; let them penetrate deep within your heart, for they will mean real life for you, and radiant health."
