The right choice.

John chapter 17 verse 14 and 15.
Jesus is talking to God;  "And the world hates them because they do not fit in with it, just as I don't. I'm not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from Satan's power."

Fighting back against temptation and our own desires requires strength and discipline. And we need that support to come from God. It is Jesus who has taught us about God's love for us and it is God's love for us through His Holy Spirit that keeps us focused on living a life that is pleasing to Him.
Jesus tired so hard to tell everyone about God and His plan of Salvation for all. The miracles He did should have shown people that He was God's Son, yet people could not wrap their thoughts around Him being the Messiah. They mocked Him and beat Him and then they Crucified Him upon a cross. All because He was claiming to be God's Son and that through Him people could come to live with God.
People today, find it hard to grasp what He claimed and would rather follow their own thoughts, than believe that God is real and is waiting for those who come to Him. Jesus only spoke what He knew as true, and to those, who are able to see Him as God's Son, their lives are changed forever. Jesus accepted the pain and suffering because He wanted everyone to know about God's plan. It saddened Him as it does those who know and love God.
Water restores and refreshes life and Jesus uses water as an example that anyone who comes to Him can be refreshed. He states that through Him eternal life can be had. Why would you not want to accept such a wonderful offer of life? God knew what Jesus was going to go through and Jesus never lost sight of knowing God is with Him.
There may be places in the world where believing in God can cause you troubles. Even here where free speech is allowed, you may be given a hard time for your beliefs. It is your faith in belonging to God's family that surrounds you with a joy that cannot be taken away. That is the happiness that Jesus wants people to know.
Everyday we are faced with challenges and decisions to make. Are you sure that each decision is the right one? Do you read books and trust the knowledge of others to have the answers you need? There is always someone with an opinion and you have to live by trial and error, to see if what you seek, can solve your issues.
Jesus wants us all to see that God---the Creator of everything---is wanting you to trust in Him for the answers to your problems. You need to talk with Him. You will be amazed at what happens and you will be filled with love for Him. It is your personal relationship with Him that will bring you the long sought after comfort and peace.
People who know you will see the change. You will be humbled and refreshed. You will be happy and confident that you are never alone, because you are living forever in the presence of God. Jesus has found you and is bringing you into His family, where you see God in all that is around you.
You will see that everything is from Him. He created your body, He gives you the air you breath. He is with you in your dreams and your hopes. He is with you throughout your day. You are thankful to Him for the wisdom that comes from talking to Him and trusting in Him to be listening to you. You are thankful that He is there with you in the trials of everyday life. You don't let temptations and wrong choices pull you away. You work hard to keep your life righteous and pleasing to God, all because you know that He is there. You have made the choice to live in peace with Him and He has brought you close to Him, where you are kept safe and feel loved by Him.
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank you for making enough of an opening, so that we can see the difference of life without You and life with You. Wow! There is Light! 😊

Psalms chapter 68 verse 19.
"What a glorious Lord! He who daily bears our burdens also gives us our salvation."

Isaiah chapter 53 verse 4-6.
"Yet it was our grief He bore, our sorrows that weighed Him down. And we thought His troubles were a punishment from God, for His own sins! But He was wounded and bruised for our sins. He was chastised that we might have peace; He was lashed and we were healed! We are the ones who strayed away like sheep! We who left God's paths to follow our own. Yet God laid on Him the guilt and sins of every one of us!"

Ephesians chapter 4 verse 12.
"Why is it He gives us these special abilities to do certain things best? It is that God's people will be equipped to do better work for Him, building up the church, the body of Christ, to a position of strength and maturity; until finally we all believe alike about our salvation and about our Savior, God's Son, and all become full-grown in the Lord---yes, to the point of being filled full with Christ."
