The best gift ever!

2 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 22.
"He has given us His Holy Spirit in our hearts as guarantee that we belong to Him, and as the first installment of all that He is going to give us."

It is the Holy Spirit that fills you with the joy of God through your love for His Son Jesus. Your wisdom, your happiness, your contentment are all seen and understood as gifts from God because the Holy Spirit is alive inside you.
The old has past and the new fills your thoughts and life everyday. You enjoy reading the bible. You love the music that brings praise and honor to God. You love Jesus and you are so thankful to have been set free from the burdens that had a hold of you. Each day is filled with awesome glory. You see the beautiful world that God created and it stands out as if you are seeing it for the first time. The colors, the mighty trees, the mountains, the oceans, the house you have been given, the food on your plate, the rain, the clouds, the sunshine and it's warmth. the moon and the stars, your family and your friends. Your life is no longer held in the darkness and gloom of self inflicted misguided decisions. You are living in the glory of God, thankful for Jesus and the joy of His Holy Spirit.
Your joy is the same joy that is held by all who belong to God's family. King David expressed His joy in the words He spoke when He said; "Everything we have has come from You, and we only give You what is Yours already!" You can feel the joy that was in his heart. You can see that same joy in others who have been brought into life with Jesus.
Even our work habits have changed, we love the tasks that are put before us and are not afraid to take on new challenges. And when we are ridiculed, we seem to have the right attitude that helps others come to accept our trails. Even to the point of them helping us learn, so our tasks are not a heavy burden. That is God with us!
The Holy Spirit is inside us and fills us with contentment. We are not pushy and boisterous about our new found faith, but the opposite, where we wait patiently for the opportunity to arise, and then God uses us with the right words and love, that is just what is needed.
You see? Even with busy lives, were are at rest, happy that we are no longer following the paths of seeking happiness, but have come to accept joyfully the life we have. The paths we follow are pleasing to God. Your eyes are on your heavenly Father who watches over you and leads you in the direction of walking with Jesus.
Thank you Father for Jesus and a never ending smile that brings tears of joy to our hearts. 😊

"Your's is the mighty power and glory and victory and majesty. Everything in the heavens and earth is Yours, O Lord, and this is Your kingdom. We adore You as being in control of everything. Riches and honor come from You alone, and You are the Ruler of all mankind; Your hand controls power and might, and it is at Your discretion that men are made great and given strength."

1 Thessalonians chapter 4 verses 11 and 12.
"This should be your ambition; to live a quiet life, minding your own business and doing your own work, just as we told you before. As a result, people who are not Christians will trust and respect you, and you will not need to depend on others for enough money to pay your bills."

Matthew chapter 10 verses 39 and 40.
