Strength in Scripture

Psalms chapter 23 verses 1-6.
"The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name sake. Even when I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You art with me; Your rod and Your staff they comfort me. You shall prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all that days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord."

Practicing Scripture and retaining it to memory makes us prepared to help others, to strengthen us in times of temptation or when someone is questioning our faith.
It is the word of God that has brought us to know Jesus and the paths to Salvation. The very place where we walk today. It is where we gain strength to face each day, encouraged and confident that we are not alone. It is why we are filled with love and praises for His blessings.
Throughout our day we can see how He is blessing us with the right words to speak. How we are are kept safe from temptation and successful in the tasks that challenge us. It is because we are faithful that He is faithful to us. It is our joy and gratitude to Him for His love upon our lives that He hears and enjoys.
It is the way we feel and are seen by others that He holds close to His heart. We are His children and He loves us and protects us. We can laugh and enjoy all the beautiful gifts of His world, seeing them as blessings from Him, and being thankful that Jesus is our Savior.
The Bible has led us to know God and to know of His saving grace through Jesus, His Son. We read it daily and may read the same Scripture over and over again. And each time the same Scripture may apply to our situations in a different way. God knows that we are seeking His answers to our issues. He knows that we need His help and it is through His word that we find the solutions.
And it is through reading His word that we are led to prayer. Thankful that Jesus has made it possible for us to have our personal relationship with God and belong to His family. The bible (Gods word) has made it possible for us to step out of our old sinful ways and into a life where each day is filled with focus on pleasing God and basking in His love. You want to obey and abide by His teachings.
You are not out to be someone who forces God onto others. God did not force you to come to Him. You picked up the bible all on your own and are now thankful that you did. For doing that set you free from the addictions and greed of battling your emotions. It is your changed life that has you thankful to God for Jesus. It is what you know that is the Light of your soul, and how happy that makes you feel.
No more deceit or lying. Only the truth and the love you feel. If you feel guilty, there is forgiveness. You are strengthened and feel encouraged to help and take on new challenges. You work hard at trusting in God and know that it is through reading the bible, that God loves to see.
It is God who gave you the thought that led to pick up the bible and reach out to Jesus. You are to be humble and know your place in life with Him. The bible gives you the direction needed to help others find their way to God. So when the opportunity to talk about Jesus to someone who is struggling with finding direction comes along, you are prepared by His word and the Holy Spirit will give you just what is needed to be helpful.
Are you to understand all the power and amazing grace of God? You can ask as many questions as you like, but you will always come back to His love for you. You are awed everyday and that shows you, your place in His family.
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank you for Your word written by those who You guided. Thank you for the way it applies to our lives daily. 😊

2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 2.
"We do not try to trick people into believing---we are not interested in fooling anyone. We never try to get anyone to believe that the Bible teaches what it doesn't. All such shameful methods we forego. We stand in the presence of God as we speak and so tell the truth, as all who know us will agree."

Philippians chapter 2 verses 3 and 4.
"Don't be selfish; don't live to make a good impression on others. Be humble, thinking os others as better than yourself. Don't just think about your own affairs, but be interested in others, too, and in what they are doing."

Ephesians chapter 5 verses 15-18.
"So be careful how you act; these are difficult days. Don't be fools; be wise: make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good. Don't act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord want you to. Don't drink too much wine, for many evils lie along that path; be filled instead with the Holy Spirit, and controlled by Him."
