Ponder

Psalms chapter 111 verses 2 and 3.
"All who are thankful should ponder them with me. For His miracles demonstrate His honor, majesty and eternal goodness."

How God came into your life is different then the way He came into mine. All of us who live with God and walk with Jesus are thankful for His mercies and grace.
The stories are so powerful that they fill us with an eternal joy. We remember where we were and what Jesus has brought us into now. All day long, you will sing praises and see how living in God's presence is happiness and hope. Your thoughts never forget what you once were like. You can see how others struggle with their lives. You are ready to share your story of salvation and always ready to listen to the stories of others.
Maybe you get to hear the salvation story of someone else or maybe you can be that needed support for someone who would like to know Jesus. God's blessings never stop to those who don't loose focus of Him. It is the amazement of how God works through us that puts a smile on our face. He never lets us forget that He is there. And so we continue to seek Him and worship Him.
Others see our happiness and amazement. They may hear us thanking Jesus and will definitely hear our praise songs. Our strength to help others comes from the bible and our relate-able stories. Everyone walks the paths that life created for them and we all have similarities that we can relate to.    If we do not listen to the stories of others, than we do not know anything about the person we are talking to. When we do listen, we find that they are not that much different than we were. It is those similarities that allow us the opportunity to introduce them to Jesus.
You know what God has done for you through Jesus, so do not hesitate to tell someone a story or two of hope. Maybe let them know that Jesus is there for them, just as He was for you. For the longest time you may have struggled with accepting God and Jesus. Oh, how you fought with your thoughts.
You were being asked to accept an unseen God and believe in Jesus as the Son of God. You were being asked to step away from the addictions and the wonderful good things of this world, that you know, have held you in bondage and want so bad to be free from. For example; your love for socializing in bars and the using of addictive drugs, your love for food, your love for money and greed and most important your feelings for others who have hurt you. The sadness and unanswered questions.
I never found the right person to be involved with because I could not focus long enough on them. And if I had there would have been bunting of heads and maybe children that found themselves being misdirected. Through God I came to know Jesus and my place in God's life. He led me to my wife, a good person with a love for God. And so the stories began, as salvation through Jesus took me out of dealing with life on my own and trusting in God and His promises.
Go ahead and ponder the memories from your past. Smile as you see how God had His hand upon you directing you to Jesus. It is with those memories of thankfulness that you are able to trust in God and see Him with you daily. Through you, God is able to let others know of Jesus. Trust and be amazed at what He does.
Thank you Father for Jesus and the stories you created in us and others. 😊
