Dismayed?
Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10.
"Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will uphold you with My victorious right hand."
Are you someone who is dismayed?
The people around us can cause us to feel out of place. There are so many expectations and it is hard to achieve all that is expected of us. It is a proven fact that all things have been done before. Through trial and error and with many mistakes and failures, most things have come to have a set plan so that there is success for accomplishing the goals of what you want to do.
If you follow the steps then you will accomplish what you set out to do. If you do not follow the guidelines then you too, will make mistakes and create a lot of extra unnecessary work and stress. In the days of old people had to rely upon themselves and there were very little comforts. As time went on, books were created and libraries where people could learn and develop their skills. The intranet has made it possible for learning and having the guidance needed right at their fingertips. Anyone can be accomplished at a goal if you reach out and apply what is proven to work.
Even with the ease of having the guidance, people like to rely upon themselves. They find it hard to follow the rules. This can cause extra worries, wasted time and money. Let alone the, expectations you and others have put on yourself to accomplish what you have started out to do. If we are left alone, then it is only us who have to deal with mistakes and failures. But we all know that is not the case. Other people want to see us succeed, either for our benefit or for theirs.
God knows the pressures we put upon ourselves. Jesus, when tempted, never lost faith in God. He trusted God and knew that all would be as God has planned. All that God has for Jesus is also for us. God wants us to trust in Him. He wants us to have the wisdom and the patience to succeed. He wants us to be kept safe and to deny temptation by confidently believing He is with us.
On your next project or even on the one you are attempting right now, ask God to help you. Be sure that you believe He can help you and follow the direction as you are prompted. Seek the information you need, but before you do, ask God to help you understand and to give you patience. God is with you always, so talk to Him and thank Him for everything.
Start your day with reading the bible, thank Him for what you learn, thank Him for Jesus and your place with Him. Ask Him to be with you always, for there is no place, and no where that you want to be other than in His presence. You will find peace, and you will sing praise songs and be thankful. You will feel good because you are successful at your goals. And all because you are living with God, loving Jesus and walking with the Holy Spirit.
Thank you Father for Jesus and the peace that comes from trusting in You.
Psalms chapter 68 verses 3-6.
"But may the godly man exult. May he rejoice and be merry. Sing praises to the Lord! Raise your voice in song to Him who rides upon the clouds! Jehovah is His name---oh, rejoice in His presence. He is a father to the fatherless; He gives justice to the widows, for He is holy. He gives families to the lonely, and releases prisoners from jail, singing with joy!"
Proverbs chapter 8 verses 12 and 13.
"Wisdom and good judgement live together, for wisdom knows where to discover knowledge and understanding. If anyone respects and fears God, he will hate evil. for wisdom hates pride, arrogance, corruption and deceit of every kind."
1 Timothy chapter 4 verses 15 and 16.
"Put your abilities to work; throw yourself into your tasks so that everyone may notice your improvement and progress. Keep a close watch on all you do and think. Stay true to what is right and God will bless you and use you to help others."
