Being different.

2 Corinthians chapter 3 verses 16 and 17.
"But whenever anyone turns to the Lord from his sins, then the veil is taken away. The Lord is the Spirit who gives them life, and where He is there is freedom."

Where do you live? On a country road away from the hustle and bustle of the city or do you like the noise of the busy city? No mater where we live there are things we need to put up with.
People are common in both places. And everyone one of us is different. We think different, look different and have our own ways of accepting things. Different languages are spoken and there are different traditions that people practice daily.
Are you someone who keeps to themselves, ignoring what is said around you and the actions of others? Maybe you listen but don't react, preferring to mind your own business. You find it easier to bottle up your feelings rather then stir up confrontations with others. Or maybe you are someone who has an opinion about everything. You find it hard to not put your comments in on any and all conversations. You don't care about what others think and are prepared to argue at any feed back given to you.
There are all sorts of attitudes that get people into trouble. Sometimes the trouble comes from our way of thinking and we blurt out our opinion or it is caused by something going on around us. To be humbled means that we are willing to accept others opinions and offer wise feedback based on understanding and common sense.
We can't help living with others who are different. We have to find some way to get along otherwise we are going to end up in jail, dead or having someone we care very much for no longer talking to us, or associating with us. Feeling anger or hatred towards someone does no one any good. In fact those types of feelings can worsen and spread to others.
I don't think there will ever be a time in someones life when the wrong words are spoken. It is how we respond to what has been said that can change a difficult moment quickly. God knows we get into troubles and it is through Jesus that we can gain a life that is humbled by love.
The Holy Spirit is God living inside you. It is His gift to you because you have come to Him through His Son, Jesus. The Holy Spirit has insight that will blow you and others away. When the Holy Spirit is working through you, the words you speak will be helpful and filled with love. Maybe you will be able soften an already developing situation. Maybe you will have the wisdom that is needed and others will be amazed and thankful.
You know it is God working through you.You know that all your focus and learning's from the bible and church have helped you serve joyfully, like Jesus. Maybe you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge of Jesus and bring someone to seek God.
Whatever happens you will know that you love people and that you are blessed by God. Your thankful heart will be experienced by you and everyone you come in contact with. There is something different about you and that difference is Jesus.
Thank you Father for Jesus and the love we have for serving you with a thankful heart. 😊

2 Corinthians chapter 4 verse 18.
"So we do not look at what what we can see right now, the troubles all around us, but we look forward to the joys in heaven which we have not yet seen. The troubles will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever."

2 Corinthians chapter 5 verse 17.
"When someone becomes a Christian he becomes a brand new person inside. He is not the same any more. A new life has begun!"

Romans chapter 3 verses 23 and 24.
"For we all sin and fall short of the glory of God. And are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."
