What's in a moment?

Psalms chapter 90 verses 14 and 15.
"Satisfy us in our earliest youth with Your loving-kindness, give us constant joy to the end of our lives. Give us gladness in proportion to our former misery! Replace the evil years with good."

What is it that bothers you? Are you happy and loving everything that your life has given to you?
So many of us find it easy to complain and gossip about others. Everyday people do things that others will comment on or develop an opinion about. Complaining is a part of everyone's daily living.
Politics, disasters, relationships, family and friends are just a few of the things conversations are about. Then there are the bugs and insects, the heat or the cold, the failed challenges or the achievements of others these are the things that make up our day. They make our stories interesting and give us the needed relief of venting.
How do you see time? Are you able to slow it down? Can you take back a moment? Time is the one thing we cannot control. It comes and goes as quickly as a thought. Maybe you are just accepting what each day brings and you deal with issues as they arise. You go to your job, you come home and then do it all over again the next day. Maybe you are bothered by anxieties caused by your own thoughts or caused by the expectations of others upon you.
There are many ways that people try to find the needed comforts and peace. Exercising, food, reading, internet, multitasking, television or going for walks are just a few ways of relieving the stresses of a day. But the fact still remains that a moment comes and is gone so fast.
The wisdom of Jesus, leads us along the paths of peace and contentment found in life with God. God is real and He watches over all that we do. To those who live with Him, their lives are focused on trusting and watching closely for His guidance.
You are thankful to be living in His presence. The regular stuff of each day continues. The spoken words, the wrong thoughts, the aches and pains of aging are all still there, but you are no longer alone in dealing with them. You are home, living in God's house, where He is so thankful that you are with Him.
Your fears and anxieties are quickly dispelled and replaced by the comfort of the Holy Spirit. Your time is spent in thanksgiving and kindness to others. You read His word and love spending time in His presence. You gather with others in prayer and songs of praise. You worship and honor Him.
There can be a lot of sadness, mixed in with a bit of joy when you let life go by your way. Each day with Jesus is life with God and His many blessings and promises that bring satisfaction and happiness.
Thank you Father for Jesus and eternal life. Life with you now and forever. 😊

Matthew chapter 5 verses 13-16.
"You are the world's seasoning, to make it tolerable. If you lose your flavor, what will happen to the world? And you yourselves will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. You are the world's light---a city on a hill, glowing for all to see. Don't hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father."

Psalms chapter 90 verses 4 and 5.
"A thousand years are but as yesterday to You! They are like a single hour! We glide along the tides of time as swiftly as a racing river and vanish as quickly as a dream."

Philippians chapter 4 verses 6 and 7.
Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything; tell God your needs and don't forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this you will experience God's peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus."
