The knock.

1 Thessalonians chapter 5 verses 23 and 24.
"May the God of peace Himself make you entirely pure and devoted to God; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept strong and blameless until that day when our Lord Jesus Christ comes back again. God, who called you to become His child, will do all this for you, just as He promised."

How wonderful it is to belong to God's family. To be home where you have belonged all along.
Each day we go about our busyness, doing whatever it is that we do. We associate with others through communication and quick momentary interactions. We make decisions, hoping that they are the right ones. We like to eat food, whether it be a culinary delight we created or something purchased that someone else has cooked for us.
We like to enjoy the good things of this world. Travelling around taking in the sights, having new experiences and spending our money on stuff. We like to challenge our minds either through education or projects. We really enjoy rest and peace. We like to love and be loved.
When you belong to God's family you are no longer doing these things on your own. Yes, you are the one experiencing what each moment brings but you are walking in the Light of Jesus.
One day you had a thought that was about God. It could have come to you in many forms but you did have that thought. You may not have been aware that you did , but you did. It was that thought that made you curious, and encouraged you to seek further knowledge. Jesus is knocking at your door and now you have the choice to answer it or not.
God did not just call upon anyone, He called upon you. He knows who to call upon for they are the ones who are like His Son. Your old habits and doubts created by the world around cause you to struggle and squirm. The healing process has begun. Your addictions and the hatred of confusion are no longer holding you. You are breaking free.
Tears of joy and happiness fill you as you take the hand of Jesus. You are being led into the Light. You read the bible daily and attend church where you give praise, thankful to be living with God. You realize that God called you. You may have called out in despair, but why did you call to God? God sent Jesus to bring you home to Him. Where you will be forever taken care of and loved.
Thank you Father for Jesus and Your promises that are forever with Your children. 😊

Romans chapter 8 verses 29 and 30.
"For from the very beginning God decided that those who came to Him---and all along He knew who would---should become like His Son, so that His Son would be the First, with many brothers. And having chosen us, He called us to come to Him; and when we came, He declared us "not guilty," filled us with Christ's goodness, gave us right standing with Himself, and promised us His glory."

Revelation chapter 3 verse 20.
Jesus said; "Look! I have been standing at the door and I am constantly knocking. If anyone hears Me calling Him and opens the door, I will come in and fellowship with Him and he with Me."

Romans chapter 12 verse 12.
"Be glad for all God is planning for you. Be patient in trouble, and prayerful always."
