Proper advice!

Galatians chapter 5 verse 16.
"I advise you to obey the Holy Spirit's instructions. He will tell you where to go and what to do, and then you won't always be doing the wrong things your evil nature wants you to."

Where do you find peace and contentment? Our everyday living can be stressful enough without adding being 'good' to it.
   It is hard enough to just make money and pay our bills. Emotions nag at our patience, hoping that we will say a wrong word, leaving us feeling guilt and shame. Then on top of everything, we add how to deal with everyday living.
   Do you laugh it off and take each situation with calmness and common sense? Maybe you have an inner anger that shows itself easily when statements are made. Maybe you like to hide your feelings with alcohol or drugs. Or maybe you are someone who just takes timeouts to ponder situations and worry about what is going to be the outcome.
   Jesus could not say it any clearer. Come have a life with God and trust in Him to guide you. He has always loved you and will always love you. So, what does that mean? Do I have to add to my life the guilt of trying to be good in God's eyes?
   No! God is asking you to live with Him and from the first step with Him your paths in life will be made clear. Like a child who depends on others for daily routines, so too will you depend on God. We may no longer be children, but daily events still have to be dealt with.
   If I follow my own wishes, I make mistakes and blame myself, leaving lasting scars and confused thoughts. With God, you are walking with Jesus and you can clearly see the paths that you are to take. They are paths for good and not for evil. You will be so thankful and filled with awe that you want to tell everyone what they too can have.
   God, your heavenly Father watches over you and sets you on the right paths so that you can bring honor and glory to Him. You are still human and surrounded by constant danger and temptations, but by focusing on God you will trust in Him to guide you. You will have patience to listen and you will smile when the answers come.
   The Holy Spirit is right there with you. Talk to Him throughout your day and you will see how amazed you will be and others will be comfortable around you. No matter who you are or what burdens your thoughts, Jesus is waiting for you to talk to Him. He will show you God and a new life.

Matthew 11 verses 28-30.
Jesus replied, "Come to Me and I will give you rest---all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke. Wear My yoke---for it fits perfectly---and let Me teach you; for I am gentle and humble, and you shall find rest for your souls; for I give you only light burdens."

Psalms chapter 8 verse 4.
"I cannot understand how You can bother with mere puny man, to pay any attention to Him! And yet You have."

Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 11.
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
