Pass Struggles.
Psalms chapter 32 verses 3 and 5.
"There was a time when I wouldn't admit what a sinner I was. But my dishonesty made me miserable and filled my days with frustration. Until finally I admitted all my sins to You and stopped trying to hide them."
Do you remember the struggle you had to admit that God is real and that everything said about Jesus is true? It was that one admittance of belief that changed you forever.
Believing in God was going against all that you knew and had accepted in life up to now. But you knew there had to be something better than the struggle filled life you were living. You were at the point of confusion. Your finances sucked. Your relationships were untrustworthy and you were burying all your sorrows with alcohol and drugs.
How long were you going to continue hiding? Your life was a never ending cycle of convincing yourself that your issues were normal. You would get over it and then along would come another issue that needed more convincing. And round and round you went, aging and getting tired and weary. You were frustrated with your life and people around you sensed your uneasiness.
You had heard about God and maybe there was a hope lying in His promises. Hope for you. As you read the bible you could see His love for people but struggled to believe that He would love you. One moment you are believing that what is being said could maybe be true and then the next you are hiding away like before.
For some reason you are drawn to continue reading and not giving up holding onto hope. Your reading led to Jesus and as you get to know Him, you are inspired and decide that you would ask God to forgive you. It was that moment that the wonderful warm overwhelming joy of God looking at you made you welcome into His family.
It was like the burdens of the world had been lifted from your shoulders. This is something you do not want to loose. If one moment of asking for forgiveness could bring you such peace than what was the future going to be like? You are so thankful and you need to let it out. You are praising God with song and prayers of gratitude. You are seeing life with Jesus for the first time.
That same joy is still with you. Many years have passed since coming to the Lord and each day is like the first glorious day that you came to life with God. Maybe your words of thankfulness have been heard by others. Maybe someone has come to Jesus because of your new found joy. You are so comfortable and confident in life with your heavenly Father.
Understanding and patience have come to you. You trust and rely upon God for everything. You stand out as His and don't hesitate to share Jesus at every opportunity. Your old ways have gone and you have no sense of loss or regret. You use your past experiences to help others see that they too can find the everlasting peace of life with Jesus.
Thank you Father for Jesus and offering Your hand to lift us up into the bright new life of Your family. 😊

But no one after drinking the old wine seems to want the fresh and the new. "The old ways are the best, they say"
2 Peter chapter 1 verse 5.
"But to obtain these gifts, you need more than faith; you must also work hard to be good, and even that is not enough. For then you must learn to know God better and discover what He wants you to do."
Psalms chapter 62 verse 2.
"Yes, He alone is my Rock, my rescuer, my defense and fortress. Why the should I be tense with fear when troubles come?
