Listen closely.

Proverbs chapter 23 verses 22 and 23.
"Listen to your father's advice and don't despise a mother's experience. Get the facts at any price, and hold on tightly to all the good sense you can get."

How often to do listen to what others are saying? Do you take the advice of someone and then adjust it to what best suits you?
When others are trying to advise you, they are giving their advice to help you, not hinder you. Their advice comes from experiences they have gone through and want to see you succeed rather than make errors or be tripped up by the unforeseen misdirection's that can happen.
So many of us are stubborn and lead by our own beliefs and attitudes. When we do follow our own inclinations, there will always be extra work required in order to dodge the unforeseen hurdles. Experience gives us the foresight to be prepared and walk straight through to success, instead of curving your way to completion.
A little study and seeking of knowledge before taking on a project helps to see clearly a successful ending. A good example would be the man who is about to take a road trip with his family. The man who plans his route get there safely and without incident, leaving extra time for a little enjoyment along the way. But the man who takes it on the fly, thinking he knows the best route, usually ends up making extra stops for relief breaks. He is the one badgered for not researching and the late arrivals.
There is truth in having a happy content life. There is less worry and more time for joy. God wants us to follow Jesus. He wants us to put Him first in all we do. We should start our days talking to Him and then be thankful to Him throughout our day for the blessings of confidence to succeed.
With us happy and content then there is more time to talk to others about Jesus and the gifts that He brings to people's lives. When times are tough, should you get angry and lose faith? No, hold fast to your prayers. Be strong in faith and believe that everything is in God's timing, not your's. Remember He wants to shine through you. You are His beacon of light, His voice here on earth. He will help you, He will lift you up so that He is victorious and you are happy.
Thank you Father for Jesus and the joy of being in Your family. Trusting your advice and guidance. 😊
