Do what?

Psalms chapter 17 verse 27.
"Well, then," Jesus said, "the citizens are free! However, we do not want to offend them, so go down to the shore and throw in a line, and open the mouth of the first fish you catch. You will find a coin to cover the taxes for both of us; take it and pay them."

The disciple Peter must have been astonished by the things Jesus did. It was one miracle after another. He must have wondered what would happen next!
Peter was a fisherman who was no one special. One day along comes this guy and say's follow me, I'll show you how to fish for the souls of men. And without putting any thought into it, He went with Jesus.
Right away, Peter, started to see Jesus do things that seemed impossible for just anyone to be able to do. He told Nathanael that He could see Him sitting beneath the fig tree, before Philip had found him. There was the feeding of thousands from a few fish and loaves of bread. There was the choicest of wine, that came from nowhere. There were amazing healing's and even bringing people back to life. There was the time on the mountain when Peter saw Jesus with Moses and Elijah and experienced a bright cloud from which he heard a voice declare that Jesus is His Son, how pleased He was with Him and that all should obey Him. And what about the storm, where Jesus came walking on the water and being astonished by what he was seeing, Peter walked on water also.
So, I guess being told to go down to the shoreline and finding a fish with a coin in it's mouth must not have been too much of a surprise to Peter. We won't be able to experience all that Peter did, but we surely can experience the miracles of God through His Son Jesus. Just as the disciples left what they were doing to blindly follow after Jesus, without knowing what was in-store for them, so too will we, when given the nudge of God's gentle hand.
We never know when that day will come and know one knows on whom God will bestow those thoughts to next. What we do know is what happens when we let go of our past and start to seek after Jesus and life with God. Am I the one to tell you about the miracles I have experienced? You may not believe me! Would you listen to the testimonies of others? Maybe you might listen to some evangelist on television or multimedia. Or maybe you won't listen at all, for your time is not now and your ears are blocked from hearing.
The thing is, when the time does come that you do think something about God and have this inclination to seek Jesus, that without any thought whatsoever, you begin a journey that takes you to places that you never would have believed existed.
Your life will totally change. Is it a choice you make? Maybe so, but the moment your curiosity about Jesus takes hold of you, that is the moment God smiles. For you are on your way home. And your journey, will daily, fill you with awe. Your heart will be thankful and you will love God as Jesus loves Him. All that was doubtful will become a clear understanding and you will praise God for Jesus and the road, on which Jesus, has led you to.
Thank you Father for Jesus and clearing the way for us to hear your voice. 😊

Matthew chapter 16 verses 13-16.
Jesus asked His disciples, "Who are the people saying I am?" "Well," they replied, "some say John the Baptist; some, Elijah; some Jeremiah or one of the other prophets." Then He asked them, "Who do you think I am?" Simon Peter answered, "The Christ, the Messiah, the Son of the living God."

Psalms chapter 121 verses 5-8.
"Jehovah Himself is caring for you! He is your defender. He protects you day and night. He keeps you from all evil, and preserves your life. He keeps His eye upon you as you come and go, and always guards you."

Romans chapter 8 verse 29 and 30.
"For from the very beginning God decided that those who came to Him---and all along He knew who would---should become like His Son, so that His Son would be the First, with many brothers. And having chosen us, He called us to come to Him; and when we came, He declared us "not guilty," filled us with Christ's goodness, gave us right standing with Himself, and promised us His glory."
