Speaking to others.

1 Peter chapter 2 verses 9 and 10.
"But you are not like that, for you have been chosen by God Himself---you are priests of the King, you are holy and pure, you are God's very own---all this so that you may show others how God called you out of the darkness into His wonderful light. Once you were less than nothing; now you are God's own. Once you knew very little of God's kindness; now your very lives have been changed by it."

It is an early morning in June. I'm an early riser so that I can spend time with God in reading and studying His word. The windows are open, there is a warm breeze, you can hear the birds and busyness of the day starting out. I was looking out the window at the trees and couldn't help noticing how green and full they look as their branches swayed. I wondered why time has to go by. Is this not a picture that I want to cherish forever? So I placed it in my memories and hold onto it for another time.
Those who know us, know the change that has happened to us. Some, you have talked with about God and to others you spend time in giving praise and worship to Jesus. To those whom we meet for a first time, there is a kind greeting and maybe an awkward silence. We don't know each other, so why should I talk with them?
You talk to them because you can't help it. It is a choice you have, but once the Holy Spirit is inside you, it is only a matter of time before you share casual conversation. The simple talk of weather and chores caused by the seasons. Maybe you compliment something they have said by saying you enjoy that also. Maybe you find some common ground and the conversation continues.
The awkward moment has changed. No longer are you living in stubbornness, only thinking of yourself, but you are filled with a happiness and peace that only Jesus can bring to you. When having first met someone, you need to know the circumstances of the situation before you talk to someone about God. The wonderful thing about the Holy Spirit is how subtle He can be. He helps you with just the right words and the right actions that glorifies God.
You will know if an encounter is right to share Jesus. So you should enjoy your new found faith and let the happiness you feel inside show your true feelings for Jesus always. The Holy Spirit will inspire you to see that every minute is a gift from God. You will see the beautiful world He created and the opportunities to have others experience the love of God through knowing Jesus.
Thank you Father for Jesus and turning on the light for us to see our way. 😊

2 Peter chapter 1 verse 2.
"Do you want more and more of God's kindness and peace? Then learn to know Him better and better."

Galatians chapter 5 verse 17.
"For we naturally love to do evil things that are just the opposite from the things that the Holy Spirit tells us to do; and the good things we want to do when the Spirit has His way with us are just the opposite of our natural desires."
"These two forces within us are constantly fighting each other to win control over us, and our wishes are never free from their pressures."

Acts chapter 4 verse 12.
Salvation can only be found through Jesus Christ! Under all heaven there is no other name for men to call upon to save them."
