New steps.

Romans chapter 6 verses 20-22.
"In those days when you were slaves of sin you did not bother much with goodness. And what was the result? Evidently not good, since you are ashamed now even to think about those things you used to do, for all of them end in eternal doom. But now you are free from the power of sin and are slaves of God, and His benefits to you include holiness and everlasting life."

Do you remember the troubles you had? Do you remember how hard it was to break the addictions that controlled you? Do you remember why you called out to God and how Jesus gave you just what you needed?
Everyday we are faced with the temptations of our past. Our own minds want to sin but thank God for forgiveness through Jesus. Now it is much easier to face each day and to turn ourselves away from the temptations because of God's loving grace.
We have seen and know for a fact that life with God is happiness and contentment. Jesus has shown us that by holding close to God and trusting in the Holy Spirit we can look away from the things that are bad for us and see clearly the beautiful light of freedom.
We are the ones who make that choice to call out to God. He is there and always will be, waiting for people to see that there is hope and a welcoming home with Him. It is as simple as talking to Him and getting to know what God's plan for you is.
You will get to know Jesus and you will find peace through Him. We have our own issues that seem to weigh heavy upon us. It is through seeing what Jesus endured and how God never left Him that we find ourselves seeking God's love also.
You can live without God, dealing with each issue that comes along on your own. No one is forcing God or Jesus upon you. Yet God offers and life of peace where we are no longer alone but are living in His presence. It is a life that can be had through Jesus, where like Jesus, we trust in God to love us and take care of us.
Jesus did some amazing things and people could not help but see and hear the wisdom and peace that He was filled with. Jesus is our way to everlasting peace and joy. People around you will be amazed at how happy and at peace you are. "Why" they will ask, and you will not hesitate to share Jesus and talk to them about God and His promises.
Thank you Father for Jesus and giving us the choice of following after Your love. 😊

Romans chapter 6 verses 17 and 18.
"Thank God that though you once chose to be slaves of sin, now you have obeyed with all your heart the teaching to which God has committed you. And now you are free from your old master, sin; and you have become slaves to your new master, righteousness."

Psalms chapter 42 verses 1-3.
"As the deer pants for water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God. Where can I find Him to come and stand before Him?"

1 John chapter 2 verses 7 and 8.
"Dear brothers' I am not writing out a new rule for you to obey, for it is an old one you have always had, right from the start. You have heard it all before. Yet it is always new, and works for you just as it did for Christ; and as we obey this commandment, 'to love one another', the darkness in our lives disappears and the new light of life in Christ shines in."
