Hold Close

1 John chapter 3 verse 6.
"So if we stay close to Jesus, obedient to Him, we won't be sinning either; but as for those who keep on sinning, they should realize this: They sin because they have never really known Him or become His."

Who do you look to for guidance? Is it your parents? Maybe a teacher or a close friend? Maybe to talk to your spiritual leader thinking that they will guide you in making right decisions.
They are all good sources of information but they are not Jesus. God is the one who can guide you in proper living. That is why God sent Jesus to earth, so that all people could have the opportunity to stop seeking guidance in the wrong places and know that God wants you to seek Him and trust in Him for everything.
I'm talking about God, the highest authority, the Creator of the heavens and the earth wants you to know that He cares about you and wants you to be safe and living content and in peace. Yes, God knows who you are. He watches over everyone and see's all that happens.
He is just waiting for you, to stop struggling and always being misled. He hears you when you are frustrated and confused and wonders why so much energy has to be put into having a peaceful life. He loves seeing you happy and enjoying life while being surrounded by turmoil and sadness. Maybe you are someone who is good at hiding their emotions. Maybe you are someone who puts on a good act when really you are lonely.
God is everywhere. All you have to do is call out to Him. Jesus will hear you and you will feel better. It is the strength you gain that builds your confidence in knowing that God is real. You start to understand how much He cares about you. You start to see hope and believe that Jesus can really help you. Like those whom you have sought after and trusted to guide you; it is those who lead you in the paths of Jesus that give you the right guidance.
Jesus will ask you to stay close to Him. Stop following after and trusting in your own self to guide you. Stop seeking help from those who do not know God. The bible is God's word and by clinging to every word written in it you will find yourself living in the presence of God.
Jesus may not be here physically but He has left us with the "Comforter,"  God's Holy Spirit who is living inside all those who trust in Jesus to guide them. The Holy Spirit is God's joy of you seeing you held close by Jesus. And it is that joy that you have, that comes from trusting and loving the life that God is blessing you with.
Stay close to Jesus and trust in Him to guide you through life. There will be happiness and confidence in your steps. You will be whistling and humming songs of praise and thankfulness.
Your heart will be filled with joy and all because you are trusting Jesus, loving God and seeking after the Holy Spirit to lead you.
It will be your love and joy that others will see and want to be part of. You will share your love for Jesus with others and joyfully help others know that they too can walk with Jesus. You will support each other in staying close to Jesus. You will work together, so that others will learn of Jesus and God's love for all people.
Thank you Father for Jesus and the joy we feel, that holds us close to You.😊
