Decisions, decisions!

Psalms chapter 51 verses 10-13 .
Create in me a new, clean heart, O God, filled with clean thoughts and right desires. Don't toss me aside, banished forever from your presence. Don't take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me again the joy of Your salvation, and make me willing to obey You. Then I will teach your ways to other sinners, and they---guilty like me---will repent and return to You."

How many times in a day do our minds wander from God? Especially when we are trying so hard to focus on seeking God's advice and being faithful to His teachings. We are so easily distracted! Our minds think of the daily tasks ahead. They get caught up in the financial burdens and the want, to please everyone.
Life would be great if you could finish one task and then take on another, but that is not what happens. We bog ourselves down with so many things that we don't finish what we start, creating anxieties and worries. It is those multitasking pressures that push God out and cause us to make mistakes.
It is not easy to ignore all the issues that come at us or even to prioritize our daily routines, but it is necessary. The human mind is built to handle multitasking. Most of the time we are doing it without even being aware of it. For example; cooking and having music or television on as background noise. Or, maybe talking to one person and being aware of what another is doing. Another, is driving and noticing the world that passes by.
Those happen all the time to us, but it is the thoughts that cause us to have unsolved answers that then fill us with several scenarios as to the outcome. They can affect our health and our peace. No one likes unsolved answers. So you need to decide where your priorities lie.
Life changing challenges can cause a lot of questions and possible outcomes. Some people can have a humble attitude to any issues, accepting whatever the outcome may be. Others do not find it so easy to accept outcomes and many try to control what the outcome will be so that they are satisfied.
God is one of those challenges that you have a choice to accept or not. Can you let go of trying so hard to have things your way, right away and have the patience needed to trust in God to guide you along the right paths? Our life experiences help us with most challenges and we watch them come and go with ease. Others we can get frustrated with and become not so pleasant to be around. We vent on people looking for their input and possible answers. We may even seem grumpy! But, Wa-Hoo! Thank God, Jesus came into our lives.
Now, we are not alone in facing our days. Now, we can trust in God to watch over us. Now, we have the almighty power of God to call upon. Now, we can talk to Him and put to rest anxieties. We are content with whatever the outcome may be as long as we are trusting in God and serving Him. It is praise and glory He wants. He wants our thankfulness so that we are left filled with joy and happiness. He has a plan for us and He will help us keep our focus on Him.
So you want this or that! God knows everything about you. Even before you came to Him. He knows your wants and needs. So, ask yourself is what I want to do in line with what God wants me to do? Talk to Him, call upon the Holy Spirit to guide you. You see! By doing that, you are trusting in Him. Maybe you will walk away and think about it or maybe you will follow your instincts only to realize how God just used you.
Thank you Father for Jesus and the wonderful life that You provide. Content that we are walking with You.😊

Happy are those who are persecuted because they are good, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs."
