Your plan.

Isaiah chapter 55 verses 8 and 9.
"This plan of Mine is not what you would work out, neither are My thoughts the same as yours! For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than yours, and My thoughts than yours."

The words of God are so amazingly peaceful and welcoming. They are just what we need to hear. They offer us the hope for a better life. But are they real? Are they just words of encouragement meant to give us false hope?
Is there really a lot of people that do not know of God or have ever even heard about Him? I think that is hard to do in today's world. With television and intranet everywhere, surely at one point or another you will see some broadcast about churches or religion. No matter who you are, rich and famous, an average middle class family or someone struggling to get by---God is everywhere and someone will speak about Him.
You may not listen because your thoughts are on doing what you want to do. Plans give us focus. If we do not have a plan than we make stuff up just to occupy our time. Even when we get worn out, there is a plan made to give us the need rest, restoring us so that we can go about getting worn out again. So much to do and see in such a short span of life.
Our aging bodies make it even shorter as our youthful strength turns into hurting muscles that take longer and longer to heal. We need to take care of ourselves so that we can get the most out of the time that we have. The plans we make are developed to get the most from the tasks that we are going to do. Do not waste a moment. Get the most out of everything. It sound good but, all the planning can be draining, to the point of missing out on all your preparation, because of needed rest.
God wants us to be rested and prepared to accept the best of what life is going to give us. His way of living is totally different than ours. He wants us to include Him in everything. He wants us to be thankful to Him for the lives that we have. He wants us to know, that the joy we feel in life, is a gift from Him. As a child we get led around by our parents and everything we see is new and interesting to us. We are excited and curious about everything we see and everyone we meet.
Our lives do not end as children. We get older and our experiences give us wisdom and understanding, but if God is leading you then you are filled with the joy of the His Holy Spirit. You will be happy and content, ready to face any challenge with the confidence that God is right with you.
Laugh as you work, crack jokes, that others find funny. Be thankful to God for your accomplishments. Enjoy every moment knowing that your life is a gift from God and that it is Jesus who showed you God's love. His blessings will fill your heart with peace and love for others.
You can live in the plans that you make hoping that you will be happy with whatever the outcome or you can live life with God where You are so happy for His love that you are forever thankful.
Thank you Father for Jesus and helping us see the path of life with You. 😊
