Listen closely.

Matthew chapter 13 verses 14-17.
Jesus told them, "They hear, but don't understand; they look, but don't see! For their hearts are fat and heavy, and their ears are dull and they have closed their eyes in sleep, so they won't see and hear and understand and turn to God again, and let Me heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see and your ears for they hear."

Do you feel sad for people who do not know of Jesus and of God's plan? Why do you believe as you do? There is hope in God's promises and once you start to know Jesus, you realize that the promise of hope is real.
Each day is going by so fast. The youthful energetic bodies we once had are aging and causing us to slow down. The mind says I can lift that object or I can build that project but the body lets us quickly know that bending and lifting are not as easy as they used to be.
Taking care of ourselves helps us slow down and use common sense. If we eat right then we are not carrying around a whole bunch of extra weight, if we use proper lifting techniques and are aware of how heavy an object is then we can do what we set out to do.
Our minds don't always do the right thing. Many times we do something and soon regret what we did because we were rushing and following what we thought was the right way. Guess what? Our bodies reminded us with aches and pains or that our actions have made us feel remorse.
God does not want us to do things on our own. He wants us to start off our day, with Him. First give Him thanks for the life that He has blessed you with. Then talk to Him, asking Him to be with you as you go about your day. Ask Him to give you that needed nudge so that you slow down and thank Him for His wisdom.
Take care of yourself so that you are healthy and able to do His work. Know Scripture and what God's plan is. That way you are prepared to share Jesus with others. You see, we all have things that we do, and God wants to help us get them done, with total success. Once we have given thanks and praised the Lord for His blessings, we are seen by others as someone who can be counted on to work hard and with confidence. And that opens up opportunities to tell others of the amazing power and strength that comes from allowing God to work through you.
You will stand out like the beacon light, spoke of in the bible. Others will see your joy and you will talk of God and Jesus. Who knows, maybe someones heart will be touched and their eyes and ears will be opened.
Thank you Father for Jesus and the life we have with You. You are with us always and forever! 😊

Matthew chapter 28 verse 20.
Jesus said, "Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you; and be sure of this---that I am with you always, even to the end of the world."

Proverbs chapter 8 verses 33-36.
The voice of wisdom says, "Listen to my counsel---oh, don't refuse it---and be wise. Happy is the man who is anxious to be with me that he watches for me daily at my gates, or waits for me outside my home! For whoever finds me find life and wins approval from the Lord. But the one who misses me has injured himself irreparably. Those who refuse me show that they love death."

Hebrews chapter 4 verse 13.
"He knows about everyone, everywhere. Everything about us is bare and wide open to the all-seeing eyes of our living God; nothing can be hidden from Him to whom we must explain all that we have done."
