Trusting

Luke chapter 10 verses 21-
Then Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit and said, "I praise you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for hiding these things from the intellectuals and the worldly wise and for revealing them to those who are trusting as little children. Thank you Father for that is the way You wanted it."

I also like Luke chapter 10  verse 3 which says, "Go now, and remember I am sending you out as lambs among wolves."
There is nothing like the innocence of a little child. They have no fear for they have no understanding of what can hurt them. They learn by trial and error. Little children walk with love and joy in their hearts. It is when they encounter something that bites back that they turn in rejection and fear.
Romans chapter 8 verses 28 and 29 says, All things come together for good to those who love God and are the called according to His purpose. That God knew from the beginning who would come to Him and become like His Son so that His Son was the first with many brothers to follow.
There are so many distractions that have nothing to do with the life God wants us to live. That is why living a life without God can be confusing and frustrating. Once you have had enough and think that there has to be some way better than this to live, maybe you will think of God and maybe you will seek out Him and come to know Him.
With God, you are not alone to fight your battles. He is with you to help you overcome your addictions and worries. He offers you a life where your focus will be on Him and not on yourself. He promises to walk with you and protect you. He promises that you will be reminded of right from wrong and to strengthen you as you turn from temptation.
It is His Holy Spirit that fills you with confidence and thankfulness. You will feel joy like you have never felt it before. You are His child living in His family and He is with you always. That is the joy of feeling loved and cared for. You care about others and want them to know what you are feeling. You are not afraid of tasks and stepping up when needed. You are happy and at peace.
The Holy Spirit fills your heart with His joy, that you have come home to Him.Your new life is with God and there is no where else you want to be. You sing songs of praise, you worship Him with thanksgiving for your salvation. You love Jesus.
You came from the life of wolves and now you walk among them with Jesus and God's Holy Spirit. You talk of your new life with anyone who might be interested and you help them come to know Jesus if they would like to.
Thank you Father for Jesus and the joy that fills our hearts. No longer a slave to fear.😊

2 Peter chapter 1 verse 2.
"Do you want more and more of God's kindness and peace? Then learn to know Him better and better."

Psalms chapter 23 verse 4.
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me."

Romans chapter 15 verse 1.
Even if we believe that it makes no difference to the Lord whether we do these things, still we cannot just go ahead and do them to please ourselves; for we must bear the "burden" of being considerate of the doubts and fears of others---of those who feel these things are wrong.
