Starting fresh.

1 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 17 and 18.
"I do not fill my sermons with profound words and high sounding ideas, for fear of diluting the mighty power there is in the simple message of the cross of Christ.
I know very well how foolish it sounds to those who are lost, when they hear that Jesus died to save them. But we who are saved recognize this message as the very power of God."

God is life. There is no other way to put it. God is joy. An everlasting joy that fills your eyes with tears. You feel so thankful to know Jesus and to be loved by God. You cannot understand why God has opened your eyes to life with Him. You cannot understand why you feel such amazing love for Jesus, yet you do.
Is it for you to question or to accept the wonderful opportunities you have been given. There are all sorts of gifts that God will bless you with. It can put you on the edge of your seat wanting to yell out and tell everyone about what you are experiencing. But you are to humble yourself and allow God to use you.
You are no different than anyone else, except that you have come out of darkness and into the Light of God. Nothing has changed, your family and friends are the same, you have the same job and the same never ending bills. There are still attitudes to deal with and the frustration of someone cutting you off while driving. Life does not change because God has come into it, you change. You are no longer alone, but are living in the love and joy of God's presence.
To those who do not know God, it sounds silly and can create animosity if you try to push your new found joy onto others. God is the one who opens the eyes and hearts of people to understand Jesus. You have to be someone who wants what God is offering. Once you start on the path of curiosity, God will provide you with the guidance needed to share the same joy that Jesus does.
The world is filled with believers and the numbers are growing. That is God's plan for all people to look upon Him, with the joy of trusting and relying upon Him. So encourage each other and work hard at being prepared to share God and Jesus. Attend church, attend small groups where you study and worship God, read the bible and hold close to it's values.
When the opportunity arises and it will, share Jesus with others who are becoming curious. God has welcomed you into His family and you are thankful to have the peace and blessings of His love.
Thank you Father for Jesus and Your watchful eye on our lives. Lovingly protecting us and guiding    us. 😊

1 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 30 and 31.
For it is from God alone that you have your life through Christ Jesus. He showed us God's plan of salvation; He is the one who made us acceptable to God; He made us pure and holy and gave Himself to purchase our salvation. As it says in the Scriptures, "If anyone is going to boast, let him boast only of what the Lord has done."

Luke chapter 14 verse 11.
"For everyone who tries to honor himself shall be humbled; and he who humbles himself shall be honored."

Luke chapter 5 verse 39.
"But no one after drinking the old wine seems to want the fresh and new. 'The old ways are best,' they say."
