Joy

1 John chapter 4 verse 15.
"Anyone who believes and says that Jesus is the Son of God has God living in him, and he is living with God.

When you read the bible you learn that Jesus is the Son of God and that He is referred to as Jesus Christ. So it could be easily understood that the name of God's Son is Jesus Christ. Really the name Christ means anointed one.
   Jesus is the Messiah, God's Son who has been given the honored title of Christ our Savior. Christ is not the second name of Jesus. He is God's Son, who God blessed to Mary, a baby who was to be named Jesus. And she married into Joseph's family, so I guess Jesus, would have had Joseph's family name attached to Him. That is just a little information to keep the name of Jesus correct in your thoughts. He is known as Jesus the Christ, God's Son and our Savior.
   Are you filled with the joy of living in God's presence? It is because God sent Jesus in this world, that we are able to live in His presence. It is an honor and a joy to have such a privilege. You can't help but be thankful.
   Each day people get up and go about doing their business, whatever that may be. I was there and was not very happy. Sure there are times of happiness, but they don't last, leaving us empty and wanting to have that feeling again. It is hard to be content with who we are and happy about what we have.
   People will do all sorts of things just to receive some happiness. Vacations, Internet, working, eating, creating... the list can be never ending. There is nothing wrong with enjoying life, but there is something better. And that is living in the presence of God and knowing Jesus.
   Spring time is a good example of why we should be living in the presence of God. After a long winter of being indoors, the feel of the nicer weather coming, gives us renewed energy to soak in some of the sun. The only issue is the amount of work that comes along with it. Cleaning comes to mind. The yard, the windows, the car maintenance, the putting away of the winter stuff and bringing out the summer stuff.
   So what do you see the seasons as? A constant chore or do you take the time to see the beauty in the seasons changing? As God's child the first thing you notice is the renewed life. Sure there is work to be done, but God wants you to do it with a whistle of joy in your heart.
   Living in His presence means He is with you always and you see Him in all you do. And you are thankful to Him for the joy you are feeling. Life is no longer just coming and going, it is knowing that what you are seeing is a gift from Him. It is the breath you take, it is the cool breeze, and the warmth of the sun. It is the sounds you hear and the pleasant aromas that make you thankful to God.
   And God has made all of that possible through Jesus. Come to God and bring all your worries and burdens, through Jesus, you will see the beauty of life with God. He created everything for you to enjoy. So enjoy life and love everything as God loves you.
   Don't try to figure out why God wants to love you, just accept the fact that He does and you will see the love of Jesus come out in your life. There is an everlasting joy to be had. An eternal joy that will never leave you. Ask Jesus to show you and you will find God welcoming you into life with Him.
   Thank you Father for Your Son, Jesus. Thank you for our Savior and the joy of living in Your presence. 😊


1 John chapter 5 verse 1.
"If you believe that Jesus is the Christ---that He is God's Son and your Savior---then you are a child of God. And all who love the Father love His children too."

John chapter 13 verse 3.
"Jesus knew that the Father had given Him everything and that He had come from God and would return to God. And how He loved His disciples!"

Nehemiah chapter 8 verses 9 and 10.
"Don't cry on such a day as this! For today is a sacred day before the Lord your God---it is a time to celebrate with a hearty meal and to send presents to those in need, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. You must not be dejected and sad!"
