With God.

1 Peter chapter 3 verses 9 and 10.
"Don't repay evil for evil. Don't snap back at those who say unkind things about you. Instead, pray for God's help for them, for we are to be kind to others, and God will bless us for it."
"If you want a happy, good life, keep control of your tongue, and guard your lips from telling lies."

How do you feel when you have been wronged? Do you feel anger and want justification? Do you blurt out words that do not help the situation in any way? How do you think others feel when you have done them wrong?
What we do, is a reflection of who we are. If you are easily angered and look to see who is watching so that you can get them to join in on your anger with you, than that is how you will be seen by others. As someone who is called a bully or as someone who uses foul language freely, thinking that you have every right to bear grudges for the world has mistreated you.
Maybe you try your best to fit in with everyone, thinking that you can gain respect with common sense and kindness. But all you find is rejection and troubles from making mistakes, leading to failure. Being a drinking buddy is not the way to have a friend and the same happens with being kind to others, expecting that others will treat you the same. It is easy to get frustrated and feel let down.
It took me a long time to learn how to treat others and myself properly. I found the answer in Jesus, as God accepted me into His family. I still do blurt out wrong words when things frustrate me, but my heart has been softened to keep my thoughts on God and His forgiveness to me.
When Jesus was hanging on the cross, He felt rejected and forsaken by God. He cried out for others to be forgiven as they mocked Him and hurt Him with their actions. He could have been angry at them and fought back only to die empty of love. But that was not God's will.
Jesus knew God was with Him and He knew that God loves Him and that God keeps Him beside Him always. Jesus was with God and God never left Him. No matter what others did to Him, He knew that His life was with God and not concerned how others were treating Him.
He felt sadness for them and continued to tell them of God's love. He prayed for them and that God would use Him to reflect the love that God has for all people. He sang songs of praise to God, loving Him, for the love that He has for everyone.
There will always be things that rub against us the wrong way and cause us to feel animosity. Hold close to the teachings of Jesus. Hold close to God's plan for you. Hold close to the love that God has. Be God's child and trust Him. Pray to Him for guidance and read the bible and listen to the messages spoken at church. Let the voice of the Holy Spirit warm your heart as you stand in the presence of God. You are God's child, who asked Jesus to forgive you and others will see that in you. You are not bound to this world but to a life with God.
Thank you Father for Jesus and Your love. Help us to reflect you in our lives so that others know Your wonderful love and what life is like with You. 😊

The poor shall eat and be satisfied; all who seek the Lord shall find Him and shall praise His name. Their hearts shall rejoice with everlasting joy."

"Christ also suffered. He died once for the sins of all us guilty sinners, although He Himself was innocent of any sin at any time, that He might bring us safely home to God. But though His body died, His Spirit lived on."

"I can do everything God asks me to with the help of Christ who gives me the power and strength."
