Our Connection.

Mark chapter 14 verse 38.
"Watch with Me and pray lest the tempter overpower you. For though the Spirit is willing enough, the body is weak."

Life without God is so unguarded. It is vulnerable to physical and mental harm. Living by our own will leads to greed and dishonoring others. No matter how hard you try, there is never enough. No matter how hard you try, you are never satisfied.
It is so easy to be mislead and under constant battles with the mind. Our whole lives can be spent struggling to survive. The more stuff we get the more we burden our happiness. Having common sense really helps to keep ourselves in check.
After accumulating more than we can handle, then we say enough is enough and try our hardest to get ourselves under control. Even then it can be hard on our marriage, family, job and those closest to us. We have dug a deep hole and are trying to climb out, no matter what the costs are to us or to others around us.
Life with God is totally different than anything our own thoughts can come up with. That is why you hear people talking about God and Jesus. If you do not now Him, then He can seem too far fetched to be believable. What God asks of us is for our commitment to Him and to love others as He loves us. Is that so hard to understand and accept?
God sent Jesus to open the way up for all people to come to Him. It is through Jesus that God hears our prayers. With His arms wide open, we are invited into life with God. Jesus prays for us to God as He hears our prayers for help and guidance. He hears us as we pray for others and their needs. He is the conduit that connects us to God.
Which life do you want? A life where you are doing your best to be happy? or a life with God who brings happiness by having a Father who loves us and wants the best for us? Isn't it comforting to speak to God before you start your day and ask Him to be with you? You trust Him to protect you and to lead you along the right paths. And as you see the changes that happen around you, you will be thankful and grateful to God for Jesus and your new life.
God is not new and is available to all who come to Him through Jesus. Stop dancing around, stop treading water making yourself weary and worn out. Ask Jesus to bring you into a life with God,  where you can walk with your head held high, filled with the confidence that you are no longer alone to deal with everything.
God hears your prayers and knows your love for Him. He is with you as you interact with others and is honored as you reflect the joy you have with Him. All the stuff that bogged us down before Jesus, is still there, trying it's hardest to entice us with all it's glitter. But now your eye's are not on the stuff, but on your new life with God.
You are filled with a wonderful joy that you are no longer drawn in by the world, but on living a life that is pleasing to God. Thankful for His love and His Son Jesus. It is through the joy that others receive from you, that you gain strength and fulfillment. Jesus is the connection to God through you.
Thank you Father for flowing through us Your love. Thank you for Jesus. 😊

Jesus replied, "Don't you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I say are not My own but are from My Father who lives in Me. And He does His work through Me."

Mark chapter 10 verse 27.
Jesus looked at them intently, then said, "Without God, it is utterly impossible. But with God everything is possible."
