Let Go!
Matthew chapter 14 verse 31.
Instantly Jesus reached out His hand and rescued him. "O man of little faith," Jesus said. "Why did you doubt Me?"
God has been telling people that life with Him is available, to all who come to Him. What is so fearful of that? Why can't we see God and believe in Jesus?
It is the things of this world that distract us and it's glitter that makes us want it more than God. Are you so afraid of not having enough? Do you like to rebel against common sense, thinking that you are in control?
What gain is there in having too much? You may enjoy what you get for a short term, but in most cases what we get rots and rusts away, leaving us without. So you are left paying off something you don't have anymore. Maybe you bought something and you could not afford it so now you are left with mountains of money owing. Relationships are tested and frustration leads to unnecessary arguments.
You are no longer happy, because you are worn out from trying to maintain all you have. From fighting to keep your head above water. You so want more! You do whatever it takes to get what you want. Until finally there is nothing left but yourself and a life of sadness and being alone.
There is a place where refuge can be had. A place where you are content and happy. It can even be a place of success and adventure. Is it a fairy tale? Is it some strange land far away from where I am and that I will never be able to get to? No. It is life with Jesus, where you live with God and protected by His Holy Spirit.
God is patient and waits for those to come to Him. He is sad to watch people shun Him and struggle with their lives. Life with God is nothing new and neither is frustration and sadness. How we live is a choice we have to make. No one is forcing you to walk a clean, faithful life. Maybe you feel that your circumstances are too far gone and there is no way of escape.
The thing about God is that He walks with us in our thoughts and soul. He is what we believe to be true. There is no place to hide or no place that is to out of reach for God to be available to you. Call out to God and ask Him to show you Jesus. Tell Him that you are fed up with always fighting and that you need His help. Believe in what you are asking and who you are asking it too.
Change your life and set your path on knowing God and learning about Jesus. Pick up a bible, read it. Go to church, it is not an evil place, but the place where everyday people like yourself come to thank God with praise songs, prayer and sharing their life stories.
The world of temptation and glitter is always going to be there. You are the one who chooses how you live. God is a totally new way of living. Through Jesus, you can see clearly a path of goodness and peace.
So walk with Him. Put down the things that cloud your mind and push away those thoughts that wrestle with you. Fight! Work hard! Let others who believe in God help you. The land of milk and honey is real. All you have to do is come to it and live there.
I like the song that say's "Jesus take the wheel." Let Jesus, take you to a life with God, where you live in His presence forever thankful that He is with you. Now live in joy! Happy and content with your eyes focused on Jesus.
Thank you Father for your grace and for Jesus and a life with You.😊

God has told you what He wants, and this is all it is: to be fair and just and merciful and to walk with your God.

"I am Jehovah, the merciful and gracious God," He said, "slow to anger and rich in steadfast love and truth."
