Jesus

Psalms chapter 37 verse 11.
"All who humble themselves before the Lord shall be given every blessing, and shall have wonderful peace."

I am so thankful to God for sending Jesus to help us.
People can so easily make a mess of their lives. God loves people and has a desire for all people everywhere to come have a life with Him. Through Jesus people are encouraged to let go of their 'I can do it on my own attitude' and trust in God and His offer of having a peaceful life.
Jesus teaches God's love, and that as God's Son, He is the way to having a life of peace. It is through God's grace that we are saved by faith. People choose to question God and believe in salvation through Jesus. It is when people get an idea that maybe by believing in God and His promises, that God opens the door a little further for us to see more of Him.
And as we pray for help and forgiveness that is when we start to see that it is Jesus who is waiting for us and welcomes us to begin a journey that will forever change our lives. What happens is your interest in God and Jesus takes over your addictions and slowly begins the healing process.
Instead of going out and living the life you were used to, you find yourself reading the bible or seeking others who can teach you about Jesus. You become curious about church and find out that it is a place where you share with others worship songs to Jesus and give praise to God. It is where your questions can find answers and you can become involved in prayer with others who have come through the same issues as you have. It is where you gain strength and are encouraged to keep close to God.
It is hard to break old habits and they will not easily let you go. But you have seen for yourself that there is help and a way to have a better life. You are not alone in your struggles. By knowing that God is there for you and by holding close to Him, you are putting on God's armor. You are strengthened and able to choose the right paths. You feel His presence and saving grace. You receive the rest you have so longed for and realize that you have begun a new life in the welcoming house of God.
Jesus is leading you, the Holy Spirit fills you with thankfulness and reminds you to hold close to God as you stay away from temptations. The same love that God has for you now extends to those around you. You want others to know what Jesus has done for you, so you find yourself being humble with them and having the right words to be kind. You find yourself wanting to help, when help is needed. You find yourself listening to others and their stories.
Life with God is totally different than how you lived when He was not around. The joy you feel is far more than you ever thought could happen. You are home and thankful to be there.
Thank you Father for Jesus. Thank you for opening our eyes to see clearly, Jesus waiting for us. 😊

Hebrews chapter 2 verses 17 and 18.
"It was necessary for Jesus to be like us, His brothers, so that He could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God, a Priest who would be both merciful to us and faithful to God in dealing with the sins of the people. For since He Himself has now been through suffering and temptation, He knows what it is like when we suffer and are tempted, and He is wonderfully able to help us."

Psalms chapter 37 verse 5.
"Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust Him to help you do it and He will."
