Thankful

Colossians chapter 1 verse 11.
"We are praying, too, that you will be filled with His mighty, glorious strength so that you can keep going no matter what happens---always full of the joy of the Lord, and always thankful to the Father who has made us fit to share all the wonderful things that belong to those who live in the kingdom of light."

God love is amazing.
When you look around you what do you see? Is it your comfortable home or is it a sidewalk or temporary shelter? Do you see the world and all the people who are living in it or do you see only what you are concerned about seeing?
God created all things, including us, who get to live here and enjoy His creations. This world did not just happen, science can prove so much, but it cannot prove why all things came together as they did. God is the one who created this beautiful world with it's amazing sunrises and sunsets, evening sky's filled with stars and the refreshing rainfall that brings life.
We have all had things happen to us, that, when there is an unexpected good outcome, we have an overwhelming thankfulness. Maybe it was a near miss preventing an awful injury. Maybe there was a health scare that could have left you a forever burden to others or gone from their lives completely. Maybe there was the looming fear of poverty and not knowing what to do?
The list of reasons why can be never ending but the outcome is you are so thankful to have a good result. When these circumstances happen who are you thankful too? Yourself, or others that may have had a hand in helping you? Or are you outright thankful to God for His blessings!
Hold onto that hope and joy every minute of everyday, for God is the almighty Creator of all things who wants your love and thankfulness to be given to Him.
It is easy to lose faith in someone when they let you down or when it is hard to see a good outcome. God does not ever want to see you sad and He promises to be there with you always. He is your Father, watching over you, listening to you and leading you in the right direction so that you always see Him and love Him.
People are so hard on each other and life may not seem fair, but when you are living with God, each day can be so much easier to handle knowing you are not alone. You have God and have followed Jesus to your new life and you feel the presence of the Holy Spirit all the time. Take a deep breath and a wonderful sigh of relief, be thankful to God for His love, for Jesus and trust that He is with you everywhere, always.
Thank you Father for the joy of living with you. For watching over what we do and keeping us safe from harm. Thank you for knowing our thankfulness and love. 😊

Genesis chapter 9 verse 12 and 17.
"And I seal this promise with this sign: I have placed My rainbow in the clouds as a sign of My promise until the end of time, to you and all the earth."
"For I will see the rainbow in the cloud and remember My eternal promise to every living being on the earth."

Luke chapter 6 verses 22 and 23.
Jesus turned to the crowd and said; "What happiness it is when others hate you and exclude you and insult you and smear your name because you are mine! When that happens, rejoice! Yes, leap for joy! For you will have a great reward awaiting you in heaven."

Matthew chapter 6 verse 22.
"If your eye is pure, there will be sunshine in your soul."
