Seeing clearly.

Genesis chapter 16 verse 13.
She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: "You are the God who sees me" for she said, "I have now seen the One who sees me."

How much abuse can a body take? People search for the answers to healthy living. Do we eat too much or drink too much or party into the wee hours of the night too much? Are we stressing our bodies out with too much exercise or worry about what our future holds for us?
I know there are a lot of people who think they are living good healthy lives by keeping a good mix of eating and social interaction. By having an open mind ready to accept new ideas, by reading and expanding the awareness of the information this world provides. But does that stop and give us the peace of what a short lived time here on earth is about?
People live their lives in may different ways excepting whatever the future holds for them. People work hard to provide and some have more money than others. We know that having money helps but it is not the answer to a peaceful life. So whether we have much or very little to work with; are you a happy person, content in the fact that you are doing the best you can with what you have?
We all know that a good belly laugh makes us feel good, even if it is only for a moment. So, we are aware that it is possible to feel good by the things that we do. The bible teaches us that God is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and rich in steadfast love and truth. Jesus, says that anyone who has seen Him has seen the Father and that He has come to tell us about the place that is prepared for us where we can come live with God.
Look around you and take a close look at your own way of living and ask yourself if you are truly at peace and happy, filled with love for yourself and others, enjoying every minute of your time here. Are you truly thankful for the life you have, for the things that you do, for the restful sleeps you get, for your job, for your children and family, for the wonderful world that is around us?
When you can see that its is a gift from God then you will see that He has been watching you and taking care of you. It is nice to see that we are being seen.
Take a step away from just walking through each day, trying your best to prepare for what may happen next and realize that all that you have and all that you are have come as a blessing from God. That is when you will see Jesus and know that you have a place to call home. Where you are thankful to God for the very breath you take all day and everyday. That's when you know that you belong and that you matter. That you have a place here, where you have a purpose as God's child to live a good peaceful life, filled with love for Him, trusting Him with all you do and being seen by others as His.
Thank you Father for Jesus and for opening the eyes of those who come to You and helping them see clearly what you see. For Your love and our place with You. 😊
