Merciful

Matthew chapter 5 verse 45.
"In that way you will be acting as true sons of your Father in heaven. For He gives His sunlight to both the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust too."

What does it mean to have mercy? God showed us His mercy when He forgave us for the wrongful lives we were living without Him. And now we show the same mercy to others through kindness and love.
We were not right before Jesus came into our lives and we are still watching closely all that we do. The world and all it's glamour that attracted us before has not changed. You have and now you want nothing more than to obey and be guided by the love of God.
Your new life is so much different than your old ways of living. Your mind is clear and you are so much more happier. You are focused on living with God, wanting to know all that you can about Him and keeping yourself safely protected behind His word.
You start your day with a good morning to God and thanking Him for the peaceful sleep He provided. You read His word, gaining strength and wisdom so that you can face each day always thankful to Him. You pray to Him for help as you talk to Him about your troubles and concerns. You pray for others and the help they need. You pray for His Scriptures to be ever present in your mind so that you are prepared to share Him.
And as your day unfolds, you are always thanking Him for His blessings. Whistle your way through the day, enjoying songs of praise and worship to Him. Others will see the joy you have in your heart. They will see your interest in their lives and the wisdom you have in your patience and  understanding.
You see God's mercy has filled you with a love for life, with Him. Enjoy every minute now and forever. You lost so much time in a life without Him. Make up for lost time by walking with Him everywhere, letting Him be your guide and the love of everything you do and say.
Thank you Father for Jesus and a love far greater that anyone could ever imagine. 😊
