Blown away!

Matthew chapter 9 verse 8.
"A chill of fear swept through the crowd as they saw this happen right before their eyes. How they praised God for giving such authority to a man!"

Little did the people of the time realize who Jesus was claiming to be. They knew Him as the son of Joseph and Mary and could clearly see that He was human just like everyone else. That is why they could not understand the amazing things that were happening. The only answer they could come up with was "Blessed by God"
So, even with such amazing healing's and the feeding of the mass crowds that followed close, wanting to know more of who He is, they still did not hear what He was saying. He states clearly without a doubt that He is the Son of God, who has come to save the world, not to condemn it.
He teaches that a peaceful humble life can be had by believing that He is God's Son, and being reborn again into the family of God. That by giving all the praise and honor to God for salvation through His Son, then you are letting go of your old selfish ways and trusting God to lovingly protect and guide you.
Letting go of our own will, to trust in the promises of Jesus and believe that God can provide all that He says He can do, is not easy. After all it is the glamour of the world with all it's troubles and heartaches that has gotten us this far in life. Why not continue?
The answer lies in our restless sleepless nights. It lies in the mistakes we make and the fears of what is to come. God is offering a life of peace with rest for the soul and a thankful heart through believing that Jesus is the way.
Just like the people who experienced Jesus and His marvels, people today find it hard to accept all that He teaches. To understand Jesus is to trust His claims to be the Son of God and that He is with God now, praying for God to love those who come to Him.
It is through faith that God graces us with His love and blessings. So, how much more of the frustration of being misunderstood, of struggling to get ahead, of working hard and getting no recognition, of bad relationships, and so on and so on....
Coming to God and His family is truly a blessing beyond our wildest understanding. It is a gift that comes through Jesus and fills you forever with joy. Let go of all you have known up to now and ask Jesus to bring you into a life with God. Trust in what others have seen and talk about. Trust in God and His promises. Belong to His family and you will stand out as His.
Thank you Father for blowing our minds away. For Jesus and the joy of life with You. 😊

Matthew chapter 9 verse 33.
So Jesus cast out the demon, and instantly the man could talk. How the crowds marveled! "Never in our lives have we seen anything like this," they exclaimed.

Matthew chapter 9 verse 36.
"And what a pity Jesus felt for the crowds that came, because their problems were so great and they didn't know what to do or where to go for help. They were like sheep without a shepherd."

Proverbs chapter 3 verses 21-26
"Have two goals: wisdom---that is, knowing and doing right---and common sense. Don't let them slip away, for they fill you with living energy, and are a feather in your cap. They keep you safe from defeat and disaster and from stumbling off the trail. With them on guard you can sleep without fear; you need not be afraid of disaster or the plots of wicked men, for the Lord is with you; He protects you."
