23rd Psalm

Psalms chapter 23 verse 6.
"Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

The 23rd psalm is a place where a person can find the peace and love of God that they seek for their life. It brings the confidence of God being with you and His daily protection.
God is our shepherd and we are His flock whom He keeps a close eye on. He does not want to lose any of us or see us harmed in any way. So as His children we do not lose sight of Him. We listen to Him as He guides us and gives us a life to succeed.
He takes us to green meadows where we are expected to rest and gain our strength. He provides for us a life with Jesus where our souls are nourished and replenished.
He leads us on paths that are away from the distractions and temptations of the world. We walk on the same road with Jesus where we see clearly the love God has for all people who walk with Him.
So instead of being drawn back into the old life we had without God, we happily face each day knowing that we are living in His presence. Talking to Him about everything, asking for His wisdom to fill us and a life of common sense.
All around us is the world we once lived in with out God, where we struggled and made terrible mistakes. You know, the life that made you call out to Jesus in the first place. It is God's amazing promise to protect us that brings us joy and peace. And it is not a promise for the moment but for life.
With God I can live in the world with others who don't know Him and even criticize Him. You have chosen to live with Him and He strengthens you through reading the bible and attending church and community groups so that you are prepared to face any situation. His words fill your thoughts as you respectfully reflect the love of Jesus. His blessings overflow.
And now, His final promise that is forever.
His goodness and mercy shall be with you all the days of your life. You will live forever in His house surrounded by His glory.
The 23rd psalm is the joy of feeling the wind off the water on a bright warm sunny day as you lay on the grass letting all your concerns slip away into a loving peaceful time spent with your Father. With Jesus and the songs of the Holy Spirit. 😊

Proverbs chapter 23 verses 15 and 16.
"My son, how I will rejoice if you become a man of common sense. Yes, My heart will thrill to your thoughtful, wise words.

Proverbs chapter 23 verses 22-25.
Listen to your fathers advice and don't despise an old mother's experience. Get the facts at any price, and hold on tightly to all the good sense you can get. The father of a Godly man has cause for joy---what a pleasure a wise son is! So give your parents joy!

Luke chapter 24 verse 11.
"But the story sounded like a fairy tale to the men---they did not believe it."
