The Light.

So many worries, so many issues to deal with. Let Jesus have your troubles and His ‘Light’ will fill your thoughts with the love God has for you.

 

Romans chapter 8 verse 39.
"Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or where we are---high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean---nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when He died for us."

Our bodies may be failing, the troubles of life may be mounting and you are feeling down because the days come and go so quickly. It would be nice to know what our purpose of being here on earth is!

   So what happens now? Are you going to let yourself miss out on the most precious moments of life because you are in the doldrums? Shake it of by focusing on the light inside you, look and you can see Jesus.

   God has not gone anywhere. His love for you never changes. There may be a lot of issues you are dealing with at this moment but you do not have to face them alone. God knows what you are going through, talk to Him and call out for His help. One of His biggest promises is to strengthen you and to be there with you.

   No matter what the worries of today are, Jesus has made it possible for us to be happy and at peace. God is with us because we belong to His family. When we trust in Him then we see the goodness of things as they come. We are living in His presence comfortable that He is right there with us as we step into the next moment and whatever it brings.

   Being thankful to God for everything helps us to not lose focus of Him, even when the bills keep coming and relationships are tested. God gave Jesus to show us that He loves us and that as our Father, He wants us to count on Him.

   As His children, we know that He never fails us. We know the joy of following Jesus and living in the light of God. No matter where you are, He is with you. He will keep you safe and you will know that your peace is from Him. His plan for you is for you to know that you are His child, and that you belong to His family.

   It is in knowing that you are His child that keeps you content and at peace. So many examples could be used to describe what brings you those comfortable, warm peaceful thoughts. So whatever they are, know that belonging to God's family is that, same comfort all day and every day. Look to the light that will warm your heart and bring you a smile. God is with you and your love for Jesus holds you close.

   Thank You Father for Jesus. Thank You for Your light that fills our hearts with the needed peace and comfort.

Colossians chapter 3 verse 10.

"You are living a brand new kind of life that is continually learning more and more of what is right, and trying constantly to be more and more like Christ who created this new life within you."

Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10.

"Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My victorious right hand."

Psalms chapter 42 verse 8.

"Yet day by day the Lord also pours out His steadfast love upon me, and through the night I sing His songs and pray to God who gives me life."
