The Light

John chapter 1 verse 5.
"His life is the light that shines through the darkness---and the darkness can never extinguish it."

Do some people cause you grief? Do bills never seem to be unending and there is not enough money to pay them? How do you deal with the things that cause us frustration?
   Our lives are surrounded by temptation and greed. Our intentions may be good, but when we create a debt then we have to face the consequences of owing it back. When the cloud of owing and the pressures of people asking more and more of us grow, then what recourse do we have?
   Some people are good at taking a deep breath and patiently working out the situations they have created. Others however are not so fortunate and their frustrations grow causing confusion and worries.
   Their world seems hopeless, dark and out of control. All that can be done is hide. Maybe alcohol or drugs may make it go away, but it doesn't. Most people live on the edge of that cliff. We pay back a bit or we do just enough to keep people happy and that prevents us from totally falling over.
   Still, a life where we struggle is no fun. Arguments happen and there is a never ending pull to retrieve a life of happiness, where you can find some sort of peace.
   God is the answer to having peace and to maintaining a life of peace. Imagine a spot of light in a world of darkness that never goes away. The closer you come to the light the stronger it gets, over powering the darkness to the point where there is only light.
   God knows that we struggle and wants us to have a life of peace where there is nothing else but trusting in Him. It is through our joy and happiness that God gains our love and thankfulness.
   Jesus is that spot of light that can lead us out of the dark issues that cloud our perspective of seeing clearly. You need to trust Jesus and follow Him to God where you will find the patience and love you need to set yourself on the right path of living.
   With your life trusting in God, you are finding the blessings He can bring. God's promises are real and the only way you can know for yourself is to walk towards the light and let Jesus bring you into the joy of life with God.
   It is possible for you to work hard and climb yourself out of the issues, but that does not have you walking with Jesus and trusting in God.
   Imagine blessings beyond what you can think. Imagine a peace that goes on forever. Imagine a constant smile and joy for God's love being in your life.
   Walk in the Light of life with Jesus and see clearly the path the God has for you.
