Take His hand
John chapter 17 verse 21.
"My prayer for all of them is that they will be of one heart and mind, just as You and I are, Father---that just as You are in Me and I am in You, so they will be in Us, and the world will believe You sent Me."
Do you get up each day and shake of the night before, have coffee and go about dealing with what ever comes up? Most people do. Their lives are just that "theirs." They belong to no-one so they do what they think is the best.
Most people live their whole lives like that. They plan their work day. They plan the vacation or what a day off will look like to them. They plan family time and may give special attention to those they love dearly. There is nothing wrong with a life like that except, they are missing one vital part.
God is missing. They are missing out on knowing Jesus and why He is so important to everyone's lives. Have you ever been involved with a project that was successful and remember how good you felt? Or after several attempts you finally pass the hardest exam that totally exhausted your brain and how great it felt to get your certificate of completion? Those types of feelings come from life changing events that will never be forgotten.
God gives you purpose and excitement. He is like taking the hand of someone you trust and letting them lead you, knowing with confidence that they will not misguide you. You are safe, there is no deception or lies. When you let Jesus walk with you then your direction is clear. God wants you to be at peace so that you are content and happy.
God is not a project that comes and goes. He is not the exam you pass. He is with you for life. The more you trust Him, the more praise you give Him and the happier you are, which others notice and want to know about. Take Jesus with you everywhere and watch as you bring goodness into others lives. You will feel good and you will be thankful to God for His blessings.
Life does make sense and there is happiness to be found. Call out to God, get to know Jesus and start walking the right paths.
Thank-you Father for guiding us through each day, as we trust and believe in your promises. Thank you for Jesus.😊
