Joy

Psalms chapter 50 verse 23.
"But true praise is a worthy sacrifice; this really honors Me. Those who walk My paths will receive salvation from the Lord."

I want so much for everyone to know God and who Jesus is and what it means to be filled with the Holy Spirit!
   God is who we bow to. He is the one we are forever thankful to. He is the joy in our hearts and the fear we feel if we do Him wrong.
   God changed everything when He gave His Son Jesus as the final sacrifice. No longer are we constantly struggling to get forgiveness from God. When Jesus died on the cross, His death and resurrection made it possible for all people, to realize that He is the only way to have a life with God. It is through Jesus that we are welcomed into God's family.
   So what is the big deal about having a life with God? You may think that you have been doing ok and there is no need to change. You have a job and you are able to provide for those you love. You belong to social groups and help others. You have a house and good stuff inside it. You take trips and enjoy the sunshine, the forests and oceans. You are saving for retirement and have the same up's and downs as others, of the world have.
   No matter what the heartache, there is always another day and as long as you are alive then life has to go on. We all age and if we are lucky we can live without too many illnesses. So why are people who follow God trying to get me to change?
   The answer lies in joy or should I say the lack of it. Everything that you have in your life has been given because of you. It is when we run into the troubles caused by our selfishness that we get confused. Why can't everyday have contentment? People hurt other people and the list is unending as to why people do that.
   God has been the provider for people since the day He created the world and people to live in it. The problem is that people find it easier to take hold of the food and shelter they provide through hard work. Then there is having families and glittering things. But they do not give us peace of mind. In fact they can create a whole lot of greed issues.
   God sent Jesus as our way to step clear of the crap brought on by our own will. Through Jesus we can come to see God for who He is and trust in Him to give us all we need, just as He has promised from the beginning of time.
   God wants us to trust in Him, so that we can see it is He who provides and it is He who is our savior. He wants our thanks and our forever love as we bow to Him and give Him the praise and the glory.
   You find peace and contentment in knowing that all you are and everything in your life has come from Him. It is His grace that has blessed you with the honor of living in His presence. So, let His Holy Spirit fill your life so that you are filled with the joy of knowing that He is with you always. Through each and everyday, now and forever, give Him your praise and love for everything. Calling out "Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty--- the one who was and is and is to come."
   Thank you Father for Your love and forgiveness through Your Son, Jesus. For the paths that You make clear for us to walk upon. 😊

Revelations chapter 4 verse 11.
"O Lord, You are worthy to receive, the glory and the honor and the power, for You have created all things. They were created and called into being by Your act of will."

Psalms chapter 50 verses 14 and 15.
"What I want from you is your true thanks; I want your promises fulfilled. I want you to trust Me in your times of trouble, so that I can rescue you, and you can give Me glory."

Luke chapter 6 verses 36-38.
"Try to show as much compassion as your Father does. Never criticize or condemn---or it will all come back on you. Go easy on others; then they will do the same for you. For if you give, you will get!
