Comfort Zone

Romans chapter 8 verse 30.
"Having chosen us, God called us to come to Him; and when we came , He declared us 'not guilty,' filled us with Christs goodness, gave us right standing with Himself, and promised us His glory."

It is cold outside this morning, minus 31 degrees Celsius with the wind chill. Burrrrrr.
Where do you find your comfort zone? Cuddled up in front of the fire on a chilly winter morning or in the heat of the sweltering summer sun, by the pool.
Finding comfort is not an easy thing to do, because there is always going to be days where we have to adjust ourselves in order to be at peace. How we feel reflects in how we are seen by others and can affect how we perform our tasks. When we are content with what is going on around us, then we are at ease and comfortable, which makes us happy.
It is those days, that throw curves at our obtaining a peaceful day, that cause upset where nothing seems to go right. It is the old roller coaster affect, where one issue overflows into another and sometimes that feeling goes on for days, months or even years.
So what can a person do to quickly get out of overwhelming situations? What can we do to stop getting down and feeling like there is no hope?
The answer is found in Jesus. You may have heard of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) which causes depression brought on by the changing of seasons. Maybe you are prone to getting this and that by changing your environment you can escape the extreme heat of summer or the extreme cold of winter.
There is another way to have an ultimate peace, that can walk with you daily and forever. God offers that type of life, to all who come to Him through His Son, Jesus. Unlike the up's and downs of a roller coaster life; belonging to God's family brings contentment which brings the peace you have been looking so hard for.
Jesus never lost sight of God. In fact, He always talked of how Him and God are one in the same and that anyone who joins the family of God will have the same Spirit of God with them.
No matter how many bills come in, no matter the causes of anxiety or worry. No matter how hurt you have been by loved ones or the feeling of losing someone close to you. You will never be alone again to deal with sadness.
God is your Father, You are His child and He holds you close. He listens to your prayers and gives you the needed strength to be strong. He gives you the power needed to get up and face the life around you. He brings you a smile in times when they are needed. He touches your heart with thankfulness and joy.
He is the comfort you need in everyday of your life, from the moment you come to Him and forever.
Thank you Father for Jesus and the answer to all the issues, my life has created. 😊

Proverbs chapter 11 verses 24 and 25.
"It is possible to give away and become richer! It is also possible to hold on to tightly and loose everything. Yes, the liberal man shall be rich! By watering others, he waters himself."

Romans chapter 8 verse 6.
"Following after the Holy Spirit leads to life and peace, but following after the old nature leads to death, because the old sinful nature within us is against God."

John chapter 15 verse 26 and 27.
Jesus replied, "I will send you the Comforter---the Holy Spirit, the source of all truth. He will come to you from the Father and will tell you all about me. And you also must tell everyone about me."
