The gift

2 Corinthians chapter 12 verse 9.
Each time He said, "No, But I am with you; that is all you need."

Some gifts that are given to us are helpful and get used quite often. Others are just gifts that we are thankful to receive but they are not helpful and are quickly forgotten about.
How do you feel about God and the gift of a new life that Jesus brings to all people? Is that not the best gift ever? If you are someone who has received a new life, with God and know what it means to walk with Jesus, than you know the joy that comes with receiving such a wonderful gift.
How thankful we are to get that perfect gift, the one we have needed for sometime now and how we see the potential of what we are going to do with it. You could not afford to get it on your own and how grateful you are that someone has given you just what you needed.
Now, as you use what you have been given; you see the results of what you can do with it. How it saves you time and effort and how you feel about the outcome of what you have done with what you were given. Others also benefit from your new found gift. They appreciate what you can do and may even want what you have to help them move forward.
So you see the benefits from receiving the right gift? Just the one that you have always needed?
God is not a gift sitting on a shelf waiting to be given to someone who will not appreciate what they get. If you are not looking for God than you will not see the benefits of having God.
Now, if you happen to hear about God and the benefits of having Him in your life, and realize how many others have received the gift of God through Jesus, than you may want to know more about Him.
The gift of God is the help people need to deal with all the stuff that goes on around us and that people can struggle with. It is through Jesus, that people can come to God, where they can bring all the wrongs and the mistakes that consume their lives with worry, causing anxieties and fear. God is the gift of everlasting peace and joy.
It is His love that will fill your hearts. It is His, guidance that will keep you safe. It is through Him that you will know the meaning of family and friends. It is through Him that you will know forgiveness and the goodness of life with others.
What is the best gift that God could ever give you? It is living in His presence, filled with the joy of being with Him. From there all else will fall into place because of your love for Him, which will fill you with wanting to serve Him and fulfill the plan He has for you.
So don't stress any longer about whether you are doing things right, for you are. You are walking with Jesus and the glow of having life with Him stands out in everything you do. He is the gift that others will see that you have and will want to have for themselves.
Thank-you Father for making the best gift ever available to all people. Thank-you for Your Son,  Jesus. 😊
