Power in believing.

2 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 17.
"The Lord is the the Spirit who gives them life, and where He is there is freedom."

It is the Holy Spirit who gives us the power and strength to walk as God's children through each day. All around us, is easy living and the temptation to want the good things in life. It is a struggle to watch what we eat and to refrain from indulging too much in alcohol or drugs. People do crazy things to get money and then spend it foolishly, leaving them wanting more.
It is the way we live our lives, that leads to the drama that we live in. Don't you ever get tired of having so much to talk about?
 Here are a few examples: So and so is having an affair, or why did that guy get the raise over me? I can't afford to pay my bills, or I don't know why I feel this way, You just don't understand me. The issues of life are never ending...
People are born into a world that is going to shape and develop who they are. It is who we are, that gives us the things we talk about and it is the things of this world that causes our worries and anxieties, our good times and our not so good times.
So how do we deal with up's and downs of our lives. Is there frustration and disappointment? Are you living on guard, waiting for the next issue to arise? It would be nice if it was always easy going, but that is impossible to have.
I was thinking this morning about people who do not live with animals, who have nice homes that are always seem to be neat and tidy. I was thinking this as, I was using the shovel to cleanup the spilled planters caused by our new kitten.  We thought we had "kittenized" the house but had missed the old planters in the basement window. You see, issues that we talk about and have to deal with can come from anywhere.
Romans chapter 8 verse 24 and 25 says this: "We are saved by trusting. And trusting means looking forward to getting something we don't yet have---for a man who already has something doesn't need to hope and trust that he will get it. But if we must keep trusting God for something that has not happened yet, it teaches us to wait patiently and confidently."
God has given all people, the way to come live with Him through Jesus His Son. It is when we live with God as His children, seeing the world as He created it for us to live in, that God Himself walks with us watching over all we do.
Are you able to trust that God is real and believe that Jesus is His Son? If you can than you are belonging to His family and His Holy Spirit will walk with you, live with you, and watch over you. You will be so happy that He is with you. Now you can speak to Him, asking for His guidance and see the results of His blessings.
You make the choice. I can tell you about God and that He wants you to know Jesus. I can tell you that I trusted God and He has not let me down. What did I do that so fantastically changed my life?  I turned to God, and trusted His promises of Jesus, then I asked Jesus to bring me home and everything else just fell into place. I became happier and now I understand what it means to rejoice.
God is there for everyone, just take the time and get to know Him.

Romans chapter 8 verse 16.
"For His Holy Spirit speaks to us deep in our hearts, and tells us that we really are God's children."

Psalms chapter 118 verse 24.
"This is the day the Lord has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it."

Romans chapter 12 verse 12.
"Be glad for all God is planning for you. Be patient in trouble and prayerful always."
