His Presence.
Hebrews chapter 13 verse 8.
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. Your spiritual strength comes from God."
It is the wonderful words of God written in the bible that can encourage and give hope to a persons day. How do you like to start your day? Coffee helps clear out the cobwebs from a good nights sleep, but it is the word of God that will start your day off right.
Don't just do the same routine each morning and hope for the best. That is like a ball game where you don't know the outcome and hope for a home run. You are a new and different person so act like it.
God is not just there for you when you need Him. He is watching over you like a Father watches over their children. Making sure they are safe and well taken care of.
When you first sit up on the side of the bed, rubbing the sleep from your eyes and taking a moment to gather yourself before standing---try saying good morning to God. Thank Him for Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Thank Him for the wonderful sleep you had and ask Him to guide you and protect you as you go throughout your day.
What you will find is a joy and peace, that brings you to singing a worship song or humming praise music while you prepare yourself for the day. Now stop yourself and make a change to your morning routine. Grab a coffee and pick-up the bible and read the word of God. Come before God in prayer. Speak to Him as you would to any loved one.
This can be done anywhere. Make it a priority, learn some scriptures to take with you. Practice them and have them ready to use when needing strength. You never know what temptations may attack you or when someone else may need comforting. The word of God is like the Hand of Jesus holding you tightly to your path so that you are strong in confidence.
The old days before you came to God were hit and miss as to whether you were going to have a good day or not. Now that you have come to know Jesus and are expecting God to keep His promises, you should live with Him, walk with Him and know that He is watching over you. You are no longer alone but protected and safe, you see how God blesses you and are filled with His love. Others see Him too in how you act and the wisdom He gives you.
So talk to Him, He is expecting you to. Ask Him for wisdom and understanding and most of all His love to work through you so that others and you experience Him.
Thank-you Father for providing shelter and new beginning. 😊
