Get the direction you need.

John chapter 1 verse 1-6.
"Before anything else existed, there was Christ, with God. He has always been alive and is Himself God. He created everything there is---nothing exists that He did not make. Eternal life is in Him and this life gives light to all mankind. His life is the light that shines through the darkness---and the darkness can never extinguish it."

   We work so hard to provide a peaceful exciting life that keeps us healthy and lets us age gracefully. Unfortunately there is a lot of stuff that confuses us and causes us to get sidetracked. We create things in our minds that causes anxieties making us work all the harder to get out of the mess we create.
   No matter how hard we try the trials of life are always going to do their best to trip us up. It could be bills or having enough to provide the necessities for you and your family. Maybe you have tried to hide from facing the mounting issues by using alcohol or drugs. That did not help did it? All that did was create more issues.
   Maybe your health is failing and you are not wanting to give up the things you say you enjoy. Maybe your marriage is being affected by your actions or maybe your family is a constant pain of arguing. Everyone says they want to help, yet you see them as tiring and straining. So you find the easy out and that is falling back on the old habits which you say you have tried to give up but are unable to succeed at.
   The following are words I know you have heard before, because you can't get away from people who care. "There is hope and help available" Now it is up to you on how you take that phrase and use it. Yes, there are other organizations who can help, but you need to be in dire straits. Yes, there is medical help, but you need to be in constant need for others to give you the kind of help you are looking for. So, is the phrase, "There is hope and help available" really true?
   Yes, but it is up to you to take the necessary steps to start the process. You might say, "My own will power is not enough, every time I try there is failure." This is true, there are a lot of reasons as to why people fail at their attempts to climb out of whatever confusing mixed up life that burdens them.
   The statement still holds true and if you really want the help then make the right call. God is waiting for you to call out to Him so that He can ask you, "What do you want?" You have to know that when you are making that call, that you are not just calling another person but you are calling out to God. The person who created all things, the almighty, all powerful God who you hope will hear you and want to help you.
   God is there for you but you need to understand that there is no guessing or wishful thinking. You are calling to Him because you believe He can help. The first step is to pray to Him. Then pick up the bible and read about Him and His love for all people through Jesus. There are endless stories in the world about how Jesus has changed people's lives.
   There is peace and healing to be had all you have to do is believe that no matter what your ailment or worry is, no matter how big or small the thorn in your life is, no matter whether you think He will listen or not, God wants you to come to Him and to set yourself free through knowing Jesus.
   Know the true meaning of Christmas and let Christmas become everyday of your life forever and beyond.
   Thank you Father for your Son, Jesus. Thank you Jesus for knowing our names and welcoming us freely into life with you. 😊

John chapter 3 verse 16 and 17.
"For God so loved the world so much that He gave His only Son so that anyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. God did not send His Son into this world to condemn it, but to save it."     

John chapter 1 verse 38.
Jesus looked around and saw then following, "What do you want?" He asked them.
"Sir," they replied "where do you live? "Come and see," He said.

James chapter 1 verse 6-9.
"But when you ask Him, be sure that you really expect Him to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind; and every decision you then make will be uncertain, as you turn first this way, and then that. If you don't ask with faith, don't expect the Lord to give you any solid answer."
