Do not fear God, know Jesus.

Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 16.
"For this is what you yourselves begged of God at Mount Horeb. There at the foot of the mountain you begged that you might not have to listen to the terrifying voice of God again, or see the awesome fire on the mountain, lest you die."

At that mountain God tried to talk to the people but the sound was deafening, the thunder and dark clouds was fearsome. So much so that the people begged God to stop. That was when God decided that He would send Jesus to speak for Him. God had a plan and Jesus would fulfill God's plan by following His instructions.
On the night Jesus was born, the skies opened up again and astonished those with fear and confusion. The difference between the incident at Mount Horeb and what was happening in front of the shepherds was angels filled the skies telling them of the birth of Jesus. Singing praises and dancing joyfully.
God has never stopped loving people. He wants our gratitude and love. He wants us to talk to Him, trusting Him to guide us. God wants us to believe in His love for us. Jesus is God's voice and through Jesus we can find the peace we long for.
What are you feeling today? A hangover from too much indulgence or are you feeling a little tired from staying up late enjoying the company of family and friends. We are to celebrate the birth of Jesus. We are to share a meal and play some games and enjoy the blessings of God.
Don't fear God, get to know Him by knowing Jesus. All that follows, will be a life time of friendship and understanding. What is even better is eternal life. You will be with Jesus someday. Jesus has promised that He will always be there for us, we will never be alone.
Maybe the celebration of Christmas day changed your life and you truly feel the love that God has. Be thankful to Him. Talk to Him and make sure to ask Him to walk with you each day. Thank Him for Jesus and your new life. Listen closely to what Jesus has to say, He will guide you to trust in God.
Thank-you Father for new beginnings through knowing Jesus. 😊

Deuteronomy chapter 18 verse 17.
"All right," the Lord said to me, "I will do as they have requested. I will raise up from among them a Prophet, an Israeli like you. I will tell Him what to say, and He shall be my spokesman to the people."

Acts chapter 3 verse 13.
"For it is the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and of all our ancestors who has brought glory to His servant Jesus by doing this. I refer to Jesus whom you rejected before Pilate. You didn't want Him freed---this holy righteous one. Instead you demanded the release of a murderer. And you killed the Author of Life; but God brought Him back to life again."

Jeremiah chapter 29 verse 10.
"For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
