Radiant glow

Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10.
"Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand."

What is it that causes people so much anxiety and worry? What is it that has caused God anger and disappointment? It is people. We are always so concerned about others and how they affect our lives. We hate being alone so we seek out the company of others. Then we do crazy things like buying gifts for them, helping them and wanting to gain their affection. Whether, young or old we are involved in the lives of other people.
God has always asked people to keep their focus on Him so that Her can bless them and take care of them. Yet people are easily distracted and soon forget that He even is there.
Just like God, feelings can be so easily hurt. God does not need to care, but He does and to those who do live with Him, He holds them close, loving them with all His might.
Everyday can be a struggle as we deal with the emotions of life. Family problems, work issues, all are related to money or greed. The words that get spoken can hurt, for example, we have cold hearts and don't care. We give our time and efforts only to see no gratitude or affection returned.
There is a constant pull to have our guard up or to hide away from the issues that cause us grief. God wants us to know Him. He wants us to know Jesus and to follow Him. With all the brokenness in the world and all the concerns about trying to please those we care about, Jesus is the one place where we can come and find a new beginning. The life that is around us will not go away but God walking with you can change the way you see that world.
God lifts our burdens from our shoulders and supports us. Jesus says let me help you bear the weight of your worries. We may find faults in those we care about but with God standing beside us, we can see beyond the faults, to the love and joy we have. It is by grace that peace can be found and that love can be felt. God's grace is Jesus and our new life with Him.
In all you do, let Jesus lift you up and give you the strength and power to see the love and kindness in your own heart and the hearts of others.
Exodus chapter 34 verse 34-36; speaks of Moses and how His face had a radiant glow. You too will have that same glow through knowing Jesus and the joy of living with God.

Thank-you Father, for Jesus who is your victorious right hand. Your support brings peace and makes the way clear for us to see, goodness in all. 😊
