Romans chapter 4 verse 20.
"But Abraham never doubted. He believed God, for his faith and trust grew ever stronger and he praised God for this blessing even before it happened."

That is exactly it! Believing in God's promises to come true before they even happen. It takes a lot of reassuring for a person to have complete trust. I mean can you trust someone enough to let them run your daily affairs?
That is the hurdle that God wants us to get over. You have known nothing other than the world that you grew up in, learning that you could only trust in yourself. and even then you still made mistakes that shook your faith in making decisions.
Maybe the life you have made is not turning out the way you wanted it to and you can't seem to stop the direction it is going. Having control is nice but sometimes we need help. Circumstances can build which can cloud our thoughts and make it hard to enjoy a day. All you want is some peace and maybe to have the old days back, when life was simpler.
Malachi chapter 2 talks about doing things as we see best and how that can turn out to be messy. It says that God gave people His laws to follow so that we could have a life with Him filled with peace and direction. When we are focused on trusting in God, then we are showing Him the honor and respect as our Father.
It also talks about being united with your spouse by the Lord and that it has always been God's plan for the two of you to be one person in His sight.
He loves to hear your prayers, He loves to see you being a servant to others freely giving what He has given to you. He loves that you trust in Him and are looking to Him all the time for advice and guidance. He loves to hear your praises and especially when you share Him with others. You never can tell when someone may be listening that needs Him just as you did. It is when you are basking in the life you have with Him that you will know the full extent of what it means to be "God's child."

Luke chapter 15 talks about the prodigal son who wandered away from family and how when his life was so messed up, he turned back to home and was welcomed with joy for his return.
We are to believe and trust in the promises of God. We are not to analyze it or fully understand why God's love is so strong. God is who He says He is and Jesus is the way to having a life with Him.

I struggled with letting go of my old ways and I took some flack from people I knew. But I wanted a better life and Jesus was offering me that. So I held firm and what I found was a Father who loves me and wants the best for me. I found that I have been living in His home my whole life. He welcomed me giving me the peace, I had so much longed for.
Take the time to know Jesus. He is not fiction or a good story told by others. He is real and He wants to have you in His life. Let Him touch your life, you will forever trust in Him.
Thank-you Father for Jesus and the direction need to find our way home. 😊

Luke chapter 15 verse 16.
"The boy became so hungry that even the pods he was feeding the swine looked good to him. And no one gave him anything."

Romans chapter 4 verse 17.
"God will accept all people in every nation who trust God as Abraham did. And this promise is from God Himself."

Malachi chapter 2 verse 17.
You have wearied the Lord with your words. "Wearied Him?" you ask in fake surprise. "How have we wearied Him?"
By saying that evil is good, that it pleases the Lord! Or by saying that God won't punish us---He doesn't care.
