Aging Beautifully

Psalm chapter 90 verse 12.
"Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are, help us to spend them as we should."

Our bodies are aging quickly. Much faster than our minds. Even if as we get older and get forgetful that does not mean we still do not have youthful thoughts and memories. We just have to be more careful because our bodies are not as limber as they used to be. Even with proper exercise and eating habits, our bodies can still tell us that we are trying to do something that is straining. Sore muscles and bruises happen easier in our later years. Aging beautifully, is a term used when someone is happy and content with their lives.
When a person lives with God, then "aging beautifully" takes on a whole new meaning. There is something to be said about having God with you. You are not facing the aging process alone. With each day comes a new door opened. Maybe you like to build or garden? Maybe it is walks you enjoy or playing a game of chess. It could be as simple as sitting and people watching. Whatever your fancy is, you are seeing it with God. Which gives a whole new perspective on joy. There is comfort in holding the hand of God and sitting with Jesus. Have you ever wondered what the grin is on some people. Maybe they are thinking about God and His wonderful love. Our days are way to short and the time we have on earth is not long enough. Enjoy people, love family, mend broken relationships, give freely of your time, help others and invite them over. Care about people and what is happening in their lives. Share God and talk about Jesus. Don't miss a moment of the beautiful world that God created and enjoy treating others as you would like to be treated. Never have expectations of what should happen, everything is a gift from God and He wants nothing but the best for you.
The happier you are with Him, will show in all you do. Getting older happens, enjoy every minute of it.
Thank-you Father for life with You, as We whistle songs of joy with Jesus. 😊

James chapter 1 verse 5.
"If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask Him and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask Him."

James chapter 1 verse 21.
"So get rid of all that is wrong in your life, both inside and outside and humbly be glad for the wonderful message we have received, for it is able to save our souls as it takes hold of our hearts."

Hebrews chapter 10 verse 36.
You need to keep on patiently doing God's will if you want Him to do for you all that He has promised."
