Opinions? Hold fast!!

Job chapter 12 verse 13.
"But true wisdom and power are God's. He alone knows what we should do, He understands.

With all the opinions around us it is hard to hold tight to one focus. Everywhere we go, whether it is school, work, shopping or vacation, people seem to have an opinion about how things are to be done. We may all be human, with human bodies but we have different thoughts that make is judgmental towards others.
God asks us to keep our thoughts on Him and to trust in Him to guide us safely through life. He does wants us to focus on Him but at the same time give honor and praise to Him for the things He does for us. He wants to use us to be examples of His children showing others that there is hope for a peaceful life filled with love to God, for all He gives us.
That is hard to do when everywhere we look is temptation. Food, multi-media, social clubs and everyone wants to fit in, so they are constantly adjusting themselves to the situation of the moment.  If we do not have a focus or guidance then we can easily get caught up in arguments wanting to control the situations around us.
God provides a life that is directed by love. Jesus was just like you or I, surrounded by opinions and yet He kept His focus on God. And He teaches that God is there for us to. He teaches us that God is our Father who wants to protect His children. So when you come to live with God, you will turn to Him in all situations and look to Him for His opinion. Trusting in Him to keep you safe and to give you the wisdom, knowledge and understanding needed to bring glory and honor to Him. He will give you the strength you need to turn from temptation and the evils of this world. He will give you the right words to speak that will calm situations as you show your confidence in standing beside Him.
You can lead blindly into life or you can walk with the love and guidance of God. Letting the joy of salvation through Jesus be with you.
So smile and be happy like you never have before. Living with Jesus is a joy that will last your lifetime and beyond.
Thank-you Father for loving all who come to you. 😊
