"Guilty"

Romans chapter 8 verse 3.
We are not saved from sin's grasp by knowing the commandments of God, because we can't and don't keep them, but God put into effect a different plan to save us. He sent His own Son in a human body like ours---except that ours are sinful---and destroyed sin's control over us by giving Himself as a sacrifice for our sins.

As I read psalm 46, I could not help thinking of how wonderful and powerful God is. I mean He wants us to pay attention to Him but so many people are doing their own thing. The bible is God's word which is written to help people know who God is and what His promises are. The bible tells us that God created all that we see and that He created man to watch over and care for all He created. So, God, who created all things, wants us to know that He loves us and is sad that you don't know Him. He is all around us and yet we struggle with our own stubbornness refusing to acknowledge that there is a higher power that could have done what the bible says. That is what the bible and God are all about. They are to bring to your attention that their is hope and love being offered right now, to anyone who is curious and wants to know more.
Like being an infant learning something for the first time, being guided and instructed. The bible talks of God and the hope of a peaceful life, saved from the troubles that life can bring. I watched our new kitten looking at the fish tank, eyeing what was inside. The older cat was watching too and each time the kitten made a move towards the tank the cat distracted it. They do not talk so I was guessing that maybe the cat is teaching the kitten to behave. Yesterday, I was watching Judge Judy and two young boys were confessing to taking money that did not belong to them. The sparkle of things they could have, had them take what was not theirs and with no thought of who it may have belonged to. They did get caught and now were being taught that what they did, was wrong. Without a solid teaching background we all have to experience things on our own, learning through trial and error. The innocence of youth can be understood for they are still learning how to deal properly with temptation and all the other emotions.
Seeking God is a choice we have and because He is only one of many ways being offered on how to deal with our life, we will end up learning by trial and error. Jesus died so that our sins could be forgiven once and for all time. Seeking God is not just a moment of feeling better for something you have done wrong, He will teach you that there is a better way to live a peaceful life by seeing Him as your Father. Someone who cares about you and wants the best for you. He will help you get back on track when mistakes are made and you will learn how to live with His love instead of always tripping over your words. Trusting in God, is His promise of His joy being with you always. A Father is waiting to introduce you to Jesus His Son and a lifetime of love that only God can give you.
Meeting Him is as simple as calling out His name and believing He will answer. 😊
