Fear Not!!

Hebrews chapter 12 verse 26.
When He spoke from Mount Sinai His voice shook the earth, but "Next time," He says, "I will not only shake the earth, but the heavens too."

Are we to fear God and the all consuming fire of His power? God wants us to look around and see that He created all the earth and the human body. Respect His power in what we see and know that someone so awesome in strength wants us to live with Him. God sent Jesus to tell us that He wants us to come to Him with our problems and to trust in Him, to straighten out the paths of our lives so that we are not struggling to see Him. He can do that you know!! He can do whatever He wants to and yet of all the things He wants the most, is for you and I to know Him. He knows how easily people can get distracted from Him. That their lives and all the worries and concerns that they have created shadow us from seeing Him and His love clearly. God sent Jesus to tell everyone that He is here and that all we have to do is call out to Him and He will reach for you through the clouded haze of worries and concerns. He will bring you into the clearing where you yourself will see that the messed up life we have around us, does not have to consume us.
When Moses brought the Israelite's to Mount Sinai at God's request, it was for Him to show His power and bring fear into the people so that they would know, He is God. Not just a figment of the imagination but that He is real and that He has the power to give life or take it away. God wants our respect. That sounds scary and not very welcoming.
God is the creator of all and He wants us to love Him as our Father, someone who will protect us and love us unconditionally.
What a joy it is to know that God is watching over me concerned for how I live and what I do with my time. I trust in God and I have seen Him touch my life with His love. God has always welcomed people who come to Him, seeking a life with Jesus. All that is needed is for you to ask Him, showing Him the respect and honor that He deserves. In return, you will be the son or daughter that has returned to their Father, forever loved and protected.
Thank-You Father for allowing us to live in Your presence and for Your Son Jesus and our way home. 😊
