Wisdom

1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 21.
"For God in His wisdom saw to it that the world would never find God through human brilliance and then He stepped in and saved all those who believe His message, which the world calls foolish and silly."

We all want to think that we are living with common sense. We all want to think that we are making the right decisions that give our lives the best direction. We all want to think that we are guiding our families to make clear and wise decisions. We all want to be safe and kept from harm. We are afraid of taking the wrong turn and all that we have worked so hard to get can be lost in a moment of foolishness. We worry about our health and what would happen if we are unable to provide and sustain what we have. It can be stressful and tiring always trying to stay ahead of, "What may happen." We learn from others how to survive and struggle as we make mistakes hoping to not make the same mistake twice. Our belongings become the essence of who we are and we fight hard to keep them and watch closely that no one tries to take them from us. We want the best for our children so we set them up with the same values and watch closely their stuff too. It can wear us down and affect our health which then affects everything we have worked so hard to protect. All of this leads us to where God wants us, tired and broken by trying so hard to keep hold our senses by maintaining all the stuff we have accumulated. By calling out to God and learning about Jesus we start to realize that what we have been working so hard to hold onto, really has no value. Sure we want the best for our lives and the lives of our families but what good are you when you are overwhelmed? God wants us to stop relying upon the false misguide wisdom of this world and trust in Him. That is why the creator of all things sent Jesus into the world. To show us that we can come to Him and see Him as our Father, someone we can trust to guide us with love along the right paths. We still have to work hard but now we see that all our accomplishments are a gift from Him and it is that joy we feel that gives us the relationship of love with our Father. Reach out to Jesus and begin to know God and the life you have been meant to have all along. Christ dying on the cross---is far stronger than any man.
Thank-you Father for opening our eyes to see Jesus and Your plan. 😊

1 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 25.
"This so-called 'foolish' plan of God is far wiser than the wisest plan of the wisest man and God in His weakness---Christ dying on the cross---is far greater than any man."

1 Corinthians chapter 3 verses 19 and 20.
"For the wisdom of this world is foolishness to God. As it says in the book of Job, God uses man's own brilliance to trap him, he stumbles over his own 'wisdom' and falls."
"And again in the book of psalms, we are told that the Lord knows full well how the human mind reasons and how foolish and futile it is."
