Winning

1 Chronicles chapter 29 verse 18.
"O Lord God of our Fathers; Abraham, Isaac and Israel! Make your people want to obey You and see to it that their love for You never changes."

Do you think that by the way Christians act that they have won some kind of lottery? Living in God's presence is definitely a blessing but it takes discipline and obedience. You have to walk with God every moment of every day. Not just when you think He will be needed but all the time. God is a chosen lifestyle. If you work hard at wanting to know something and repeatedly test yourself and focus on your goal then you become accustomed to it and it becomes a way of habit and living. However with having our own individuality we also have free will and can quickly become  distracted from having to be obedient to something. How do we change what we have been used to and how hard is it to change our ways of thinking without feeling overwhelmed? Making the right choices are usually done to benefit us. But most of the time our own thoughts guide us to chose what will give us the quickest and most profitable way. Being stubborn and getting frustrated also get in the way of long term commitments. God has known all along the crazy up's and downs that we have in life. Jobs, family, health, etc.... Our interactions with others to make a living and survive are what we struggle with the most. Jesus spoke of loving one another and getting along with one another. He spoke of believing in God's promises and trusting Him to guide us along the right way of living. Jesus tells us that God is our Father and He is wanting us to come live in relationship with Him so that He can protect us and see us happy not frustrated. Everyday we are in control of where we go and what decisions we make. Things don't always turn out the way we want them to and we hate change from what we are used to. God says walk with me and let me be the one in control of your life. If you can take the steps to let God live up to His promises then you will see that long term commitment is possible and probably something you will want. God sent Jesus to guide us in the right direction so get to know what Jesus is talking about and it will change your way of thinking. So much so that you will wonder why it took you so long to see the amazing love of God. Then you will want everyone to leave their current situations and know that God is offering a way of peace and happiness through trusting in Jesus. Winning is thanking God for His Son and the new direction. It is talking with God, your Father and trusting Him to see you through. By seeing the way He touches your life, you will be forever thankful, and obedient. He is something you will not want to lose but hold close to forever.
Thank-you Father for Your Son and new beginnings. 😊
